The church of the elder son

The Elder son could have easily left his father house in search of his brother to persuade him to come home before he hit rock bottom. The question why didn't he already answered itself through this writing, he could not go tell of his father love when he himself only serve out of fear and reverence never knowing the love. So let us not be the Church of the Elder Brothers and Sister that stay home but let us go into the filth of the pig pens and get down into the mud to tell someone, somebody that it s time to come home for the father love you.

I think God for your wisdom and what it added to this conversation. The one thing I do want to push is that the Elder brother was not able to go cause he was bound by self imposed rules. The younger brother might not have came back home but then again Jesus came and die just to share the father love. So you are right the younger have a choice.

UNTIL THEY HAVE SAT THERE PRIDE ASIDE AND KNOW GOD FOR WHO HE IS WITH UNDERSTANDING HIS LOVE FOR US.... WHEN THEY ARE OUT THERE IN THE MUD DIRT ... THERE LIFE UP SIDE DOWN... THEY TEND TO POINT THE FINGER SAYING THEY WERE NEVER LOVED ... FIRST OR EVEN CARED FOR A CRUTCH ... SOME SEEM TO USE!
AFTER IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE AND THEY ARE CLEANED UP .... SOME ARE YET TO REALIZE ... IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THEY WOULD NOT HAD MADE IT AS FAR AS THEY DID... YOU NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON SOMEONE OR SOME THING YOU TRUELY LOVE!
