Listened to the interview and just want today that all over the world people are not responding to the plight of the persecuted church for the same reason... the gospel being shared teaches abundant blessing taken in egoistic sense of material possessions and for personal benefit, rebuking what one doesn't want to experience, and mega entertainment instead of picking up ones cross to follow Christ.

I am the President of Voice of the Martyrs in Mexico.. you are following several of my sites on Twitter: avoiceforothers, and vom_mex. I have almost 5000 followers on FACEBOOK on persecuted church and related themes. People want to hear good news, feel uncomfortable with conflict and extreme suffering. But the biggest reason for not responding is that people are concerned with their own lives and want to be blessed... and not be challenged with events that makes us angry or sad. Others actually blamed the persecuted for their condition for not spiritually and legally... believing that rebuking the enemy is called for and sufficient... totally unbiblical. Following Christ has a pricetag sooner or later... or should. Thanks for your interest... Im in Mexico, outside of Mazatlan for part of the year and in Chiapas at others. God bless, Linda
