Wheat and Chaff

"Wheat and chaff", people, "wheat and chaff"; a phrase that doesn't just apply to the saved and unsaved, the righteous and unrighteous but also to the Truth of God and the "truth" that the World proclaims. Only through the Word of God can we know and understand the perfect will of God for us and separate the wheat of God's truth from the "chaff" of the World's ; a truth that I am learning anew every day by the grace of God and the wisdom and teaching of the Holy Spirit. When we stray from God's word, we quickly lose our sense of direction and purpose as the Lord has set it for us.
