Today's portion describes the significant sacrifices and ceremonies associated with the dedication of the cohanim (priests). We also learn of further details associated with the sin and the guilt offerings.
Each sacrifice has a portion that is set apart as a provision for the cohanim. It may be bread on the Table of Showbread, skins of the sacrificed animal, or meat to eat, but Yahweh provides for the needs of the cohanim through the sacrificial system.
