Around the age of 12 began to manifest my first gift. Years later I would find my self in an argument with a pastor that taught that the “first” gift was “tongues”. I was 16 and by then felt you got what God gave you.
Hanging around Pentecostals there was an air of mystique and awe when introduced to persons with “titles” . personally I never understood the need. “This is Bishop Blabla and Evangelist Whoknew and Prophet Wazinaim. People would oooo and awe, while I often would just smile and address them by the first name.
In school often one of my teachers would ask which calling are you? I would simply stubbornly answer “I will be His (Elohim) servant and do what He asks when He asks. Don’t you want to e a pastor or prophet or…?No!
Being taught by the Ruach ha Kodesh I understood certain things:
1/ ANY person who starts a sentence “I am prophet (insert name):is not
2/ ANY person that requests a donation, ,blessing, or gift for your “personal” prophecy is also not..
TRUE PROPHETS CAN NOT BEBOUGHT!!!
A true prophet:
1/ Never uses a source of divination, sorcery, or astrology. The message must come from Elohim alone.
2/ Never caters to or yields to the cravings of the people (Jer 8:11). False prophets or a “pillow” prophet speak messages that gain funds. SOMETHING THAT PLAGUES CHRISTIANITY TODAY!!
3/ALWAYS maintains integrity!
4/ Will rather suffer and die than compromise the message.
5/ Announces the message consistent with Torah .The message will never contradict, or disagree with a previous message unless it is not based in truth!
6/ Has a 100% success rate (*note a test can never prove 100% due to time often involved.) While Psychics test around 45%atbest,prophets often can show a 90+% rate as my teacher said, “ Only time can confirm the other 10% and indeed even Jeremiah went to his grave not seeing 100% .
7/ Often will authenticate the message with a miracle, however even false prophets can work miracles, (Exodus 7:10-12; Deuteronomy 13: 1-3 )
Ultimately in the end a true prophet is judged by words, not deeds.
