Raising the white flag

I submit myself completely to you, my Lord. You have the power to destroy me, but you love me. You do what is best for me to bring me to greater knowledge of you. Sometimes I don't like what's best for me and I try to wiggle out of it or control things so they will go the way I want them to. Thank you, Jesus, that you don't let me get out of my lessons : ).

I repent of my selfishness and my feelings that I deserve an easy life! I believe you, Lord, that you will lead me through anything that happens in my life and my family's life. Your wisdom is perfect, Lord.

I beg you to purify my heart and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I ask you to bless my children with knowledge of you. Let us remain in you so we will bear beautiful, Godly fruit.

I repent for my tendency to crumple and to not believe you when I come under attack. I believe you are enough to protect me and my family, Lord, in any situation. I thank you that you are cutting off the parts of me that are not bearing fruit!

I don't have to waste one more second wishing things were different, because you are enough for me, Jesus! I don't need to spend one more second worrying about things, I give you all of my burdens!

Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.
