JESUS CHRIST HEALS YOU!
Acts 9: 32. Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda. 33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately. 35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
God’s Healing is real! Doctors in medicine do a good job but to a point. We know that the computers were designed based on the finding from how our human brain works. But in a way can the computer be a replacement for a human life? Never! With this in mind therefore, we should never forget that as we were created by God; he alone knows how everything in us works and can be restored. He has the best solution still.
Peter, on a mission in Lydda, found the man named Aeneas, who suffered paralysis stroke for eight years and could not move. That is how each time we have opportunity to hear about God, something spectacular can take place. Salvation for a soul, a miracle or a healing that proves God’s power over all things and situations, can happen just because we are open to receive from God.
For the first time Peter used the name “Jesus Christ” in such a direct and can do it attitude! Somehow, we tend to be ridiculed by wondering or asking but what is the original name and how is it pronounced? Yehoshua, Yeshua, Joshua, Jesus, Jesu, Jisos (my Ibo tongue) and all kinds of ways people may sound in their very languages. We also notice how the argument goes; as though if you do not say it or call him in the original sound; then they will mean you are wrong and not using the correct name!
Hahahaha!!!!!!!! How funny we are sometimes just because we forget the basics. Listen! If I live in a house with family and when someone, may be a kid, calls me with the sound that do not sound accurate; I still have to respond because I understand as I am in the house and know who is calling. My friend, God wants us to use what he has given us! Jesus is the name! When you have believed in him, he is there and can know you are the one calling him! Peter used the name without saying a prayer, because he was sure as someone that has been with him. How I wonder that though it was Peter the man saw; but it was the Lord Jesus Christ standing right in him. So, he boldly said “Jesus Christ heals you”!! Today, theologians will argue, it wasn't Jesus Christ, but Peter? Sorry, blinders!
That was how the healing miracle happened. Use the name, use the name, use the name; not minding how you feel or what is going on around you. The name of the Lord Jesus in all who believe has this automatic content of involving God’s power at all times. He never asks to do what he knows we do not know how to do! Do you have a mouth with your tongue in it? Yes! The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue, so use it the right way to live. When you use it the wrong way of strife, insults, dirty talk, negative complains, and frustrations, it simply goes on to make the situation get worse instead!
Thank God that this man was made whole because Jesus touched his life by the power of his name. As he heard that from Peter, he was impacted and his body was loosed from that grip of Satan. Right now in the name of Jesus Christ let every affliction of sickness or disease in your body be broken and be healed!. Jesus is the healer and healing more than what the doctor said! He sends this word to you now. Be made whole from all emotional trauma and every pain leave your body in the name of the Lord Jesus! All shadow of confusion and fear of uncertainty be cleared away in the name of Jesus Christ!
Remember that, as Jesus received 39 stripes beating on his back that is how we have turned our back to sin and darkness. He has brought us to his marvelous light! That day in the city of Lydda people turned to God and got saved. When you let God show himself through you then you can be the testimony for others to believe that God is real! It is not just only physical healing; but you can be that light of the world around you. So, they can know the love that comes from God and how it is possible to live for God ; though surrounded by temptations to evil. God can let man’s senses at times to see what he can do by his Spirit; and then this natural man can turn to know God spiritually. Miracles serve God’s purpose, that is why you must use the name in that situation of yours and let God be seen as your help; when anything else could not work! Be the miracle and change the story in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
