In the Twinkling of an Eye

I Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall
not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall
be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (KJV)
No pilot in the airplane, no driver at the wheel,
Yes, my friend, it's coming; it will be all too real.
Tragedies are unnumbered over all of humankind,
But the worst part of it all, will you be left behind?
The Bible says He's coming in the twinkling of an eye,
When all His own are gathered to Him up in the sky.
They'll enter heaven's glory culminating their new birth.
God's wrath is then poured out on those left on the earth.
Christ said that He was coming, our hope through all these years.
For others it's a threat that will only end in tears.
Once the trumpet sounds, judgment can't be stayed.
One's fate is forever sealed, no chance then to be saved.
According to God's promise, this day is very near.
You can read it in the Bible. The facts are very clear.
If today God's calling you, will you look to Calvary?
Trust Jesus as your Savior. His blood will set you free.
