I have been a Christian for along time and there have been mountains and valleys along the way. I have struggled through issues that seem
to work themselves out over time, but I have also struggled with
issues that did not have good outcomes.

Jesus told his disciples that here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But they should take
heart, because He had overcome the world.

(John 6:33)

Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 6:4 about how we are to patiently endure
troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.

Paul also wrote;

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing
power belongs to God and not to us.

We
are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not
driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not
destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that
the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who
live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that
the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”
(2Corinthians 4:7-11)

So we are not promised a life without problems, sorrows, and
tribulations. But the thing is we do not have to deal with these
things alone. Jesus demonstrated by the way he lived that he
understood about the issues we deal with every day like
temptation, like grief, like condemnation, rejection, and loss. He
wept when the sisters of Lazarus came to him even though He knew
Lazarus was not going to remain in the grave. (John 11)

For He Himself has said,

"I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,"
(Hebrews 13:5b)

We are not alone in the many trials we will come up against throughout
our lives, and we can be assured the God will not leave us or forsake
us. He is Jehovah Raphah the God who will never abandon us or leave
us alone in our trials. He will never leave us helpless or and
discouraged, but will walk with us through our trials.

Today maybe you are facing one of the most difficult trial of your whole
life, you can't see how you are going to make it through the turmoil
that you have found yourself in. But know that God is with you if you
have received Jesus as your savior and have been born again and you
can be assured that he is with you. He is a friend that sticks closer
than a brother and He will walk with you through it. He will guide
you and strengthen you along the way and His love will sustain you.

Prayer;

Father God you really care about us and you have revealed yourself as the
Lord who will never leave or forsake us. We go through so many
difficult situations that we need you to walk us through. Father we
are helpless without you. So we thank you for your help in our times
of need and we know that we can just about face anything as long as
we know you are with us. In Jesus name amen.
