I just want to start telling you a experience mine. I went to the hospital to visit the husband of a woman. The husband was delicate and wife asked me to pray for him. We went to visit and to be ministering there, suddenly the husband began to ask forgiveness to his wife, with an insistence, crying. One other embraced. I didnt know why.

Out of the hospital the wife talked me because he asked forgiveness. She told me that when her husband was healthy, despised to her, he injured to her with derogatory words, saying that not served to nothing, saying that he could be found another woman better than she, etc. But when he begins to be sick, not able to walk so this woman was who helped it, this woman was who carried to him to the hospital, which was not used to anything as he said, was now support, she was who helped him move of side to another.

Later realized this man who was his wife, what had that happen for to apreciate his wife and respect? Many times we have heard this same story. Where some women are attacked without compassion. In some countries discriminate women to such a degree away life. Several months ago here in Mexico was the news that a man assaulted his wife with a machete. Unfortunately aren't unique assault receives women today. There are many women who are not happy by verbal assaults that receive daily, whether their managers working, her husband, their children...

Women who feel inferior,
Women who feel rejected,
Women who feel useless,
Women who feel alone,
Women who think that they are at an impasse.

According to the Bible, this was not God's plan for women.

The Bible said in Gén. 2: 18
“The Lord God said, “it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

God originally thought women as help and support.

My dear friend, from The Old Testament to The New Testament mention women like you and like myself, with different problems, and in different circumstances, of different ages are mentioned. Married women, single women, sick women, women without money, widows, women without children or with children, and each one of them with their own obstacles to overcome.
The wonderful everything it, is that they were victorious, they managed to pass the obstacles, which had.

How could they face scarcity?
How could they face incurable diseases?
How could they face be sterile?
How could they confront death for the love of her family, for the love of her people?
How could they guide a people without King?
How could they be victorious without a husband who protect them and defend them?
How could being women overcome?
What was her secret?

The answer is… they had in his heart to God Almighty, had the support of the High God, had on her side to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in her heart had a fire that encouraged, strengthened them, gave value to face all the obstacles. Had faith, had conviction, had security. These women were able to defeat, these women staying in God, rising his prayer to God, but not just was there, also acted.

We take the example of them. You can be a woman that bring forward to her family. (As in the case of Esther which save her people).
You can be a woman of leadership (as in the case of Deborah).
You can be a courageous warrior woman (as in the case of Jael).
And we can mention many more... Sarah, Mary, Hulda, Ana. Many women today are successful, women entrepreneurs, women professionals. Women with God in their hearts, and He has helped them out victorious. You can join the many women who have managed to succeed.
I don’t know which your obstacle to overcome, but if God is with you… you get the victory.
The Bible said:
ROM. 8: 37
"no, in all these thing we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Philippians 4: 13
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength."

2 corinthians. 2: 14
"But thank be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him."

If you realize there is a requirement to get THE VICTORY... and this is: Christ with you.

the Scripture said:
2 COR. 5: 17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

Dear friend, now you can change your way of life, need fortress, solace, encouragement to continue. Ask it to God.
His word says:
JER. 33: 3
"call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable thing you do not know.."

Today you can change the course of your life. A life of failure to a life of victory. A life of unbelief, to a life of faith.
Today, you can start to be a successful woman.
Today, you can start to be a woman of projects.
Today, you can start to be a woman that protect to your family.
Today, you can start to be a brave woman.
You can be a woman who see the problems and obstacles as challenges to overcome. And with Christ on your side you are more than conquerors.... MORE THAN CONQUERORS.

Friend, if you've tried much things to succeed and have failed. You can now change this situation.

The Bible said:
2 COR. 6: 2
“For he says, “ in the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”

Today is the day of salvation for you and your family.

ROM. 10:9, 10
"That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
“for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

With all my heart I say you thank you by your time for to read this,

"A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet."

Even when beaten into submissiveness Christian? No man will ever exercise authority over me again. We are all equal.

God Bless

Hi Tammy,

As I already said - yes I was, but that is not why I am posting about this. I am posting because I was also victimized by the support/legal system, which is set up to serve women, not men.

The reason why the system is that way, is because for decades it has been dominated by a false presumption. The Duluth Model is faulty, since it is based not on facts or science, but on feminist ideology from battered women.

Norma's post is wonderful, in many ways, but it may also be a little one sided. It perpetuates the stereotypes, by presenting an abusive man, and helpful, healing solutions, for women.

The legal/support system will never change as long as that one sided view is allowed to dominate - unchallenged by the facts.

For example, a man may call 911 and be victimized by the system, instead of being helped. A Seattle therapist who was convicted of assault, and required to pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service, and have absolutely no contact with the woman says: I was dumbfounded from the very start of the incident," the man says. "I was getting struck by this woman while I was holding my daughter, and I was the one who called the police. http://www.batteredmen.com/gjdvstor.htm

Like so many projects of the feminist agenda, the battered women's movement has outlived its useful beginnings, which was to help women leave violent relationships and persuade the legal system to take domestic abuse more seriously. Now they have brought us to a point at which a single complaint touches off an irreversible cascade of useless and often destructive legal and therapeutic events. http://www.batteredmen.com/satel.htm

The problem is exacerbated, perhaps, because of the "advocacy-based" focus of women women advancing feminist causes or seeking funds for domestic violence programs to serve women. ... moral agendas and professional roles are involved." ...In the meantime, few programs offer services to battered men or women who batter despite the fact that over 835,000 men are victims of violence by an intimate each year. http://www.batteredmen.com/nvawrisk.htm

A few people said they couldn't find the video I had linked earlier. So I deleted that comment, and I'll try again with embeds.

This is a preview of the show from Tyra Banks called Women Who Beat Their Men

From Tyra's Website: In the past, men have been the ones under fire for being abusive in relationships. Now, as more and more victims of domestic abuse are speaking out, a new trend in the violence is surfacing. We're talking to women who've admitted to hitting, punching, even kicking (in stilettos) their boyfriends and husbands.

I was victim of this type of abuse, and was further victimized by a legal and support system geared to help and protect women, not men.

When I presented the facts (on this forum) about how abuse is perpetrated roughly equally by both sexes, not only by men against women - I was disbelieved, the statistics I provided were challenged, and some members here were quite upset with me.

Some expressed denial, and wished to continue believing that only men are abusive and women are always the victims. Please watch the show, and let go of any preconceived stereotypes.

In the future, if we are to discuss the issue of abuse, we need to be fair, and present both sides of the issue. The legal/support system will never change, if only one gender is portrayed as abusive.

Here are two more shows on the same subject - as further evidence that the issue is real. Finally, the truth is getting out about the true nature of this problem. Let's hope the legal/support system will change to reflect reality.

Thank you for your post. With God all things are possible and as we call upon the Lord we will have the ability to mount up on wings like eagles. He is our strength and He can help anyone over come the obstacles in their way. I pray that the Lord be with all those who are struggling in this world, all who are oppressed and beaten down. I pray that He will help them to see that this was not His plan for them and that they will draw on His strength to overcome the obstacles in their lives. Thank you for this wonderful reminder that all things are possible with Christ and that no problem is too small for us to take to Him!
