It was our sin Jesus bore
Redemption paid with every sore

Without Him our sins on our shoulders would be
But Christ died all alone for you and me

Christ died on the cross alone
For your souls eternal home

His strength dried up like sun baked clay
For your heart was on His mind that day

He was scorned and despised by all
As a result of Eden's fall

The choice of salvation is yours to make

Because Christ my Savior He shall be
