Every Knee Shall Bow

Philippians 2:9-11 “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things
under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (KJV)
They crucified Christ and thought Him no worth.
Men even disparaged His miraculous birth.
With mocking and cursing they spit in His face.
With a cruel crown of thorns they showed Him no grace.
They nailed Him with spikes to an old rugged cross.
And thought they had proven to all who was boss.
In final contempt with a spear pierced His side.
This was God's Son, who for you and I died.
In a tomb He was placed and sealed with a stone.
No more would this blasphemer ever be known.
But He arose from the tomb, He had conquered the grave.
Christ ascended to God with power to save.
Though He's rejected by most men down here.
There is coming a day when they'll no longer sneer.
Every knee then will bow every tongue shall confess.
Due homage to Christ, every man shall express.
You can claim Him as Lord and have a clean slate.
I would do it today before it's too late.
There is coming a day when His Spirit won't call.*
Do not turn Him away. It will be your down fall.
* Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him
that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will,
let him take the water of life freely.” (KJV)
