Dream of Mine

I had a dream as a child

A dream that ended

When I grew up and went wild

I wanted love

No matter where it came from

But True love is really only from God above

I thought I had found a love that would forever last

My childhood dream fades and I gave up

But eventually this would all come to past

I found love and all my dreams

Through A man name Jesus

Now I’m free from these worldly schemes

There is no other love, no not one

Never ending and a dream come true

The day I found him

I was no longer blue

When my problems arise and have nowhere to turn

I turn to Jesus

They depart from within me

And I no longer have to mourn

An angel sent to me

To fulfill a purpose a vision

A childhood dream

His name unknown

Until the day he looked into my eyes

I seen the light of God

Now my future is forever whole
