Are we really HIS church????

Hello family, this song as well as it's message have been heavy on my Spirit for a while now. If I was to ask each of you "where is God at in your life?" what would your answer be? Maybe it would be well I go to church every week serve in this ministry and even go to a Bible study through the week...or perhaps your answer would sound more like well God is always with me no matter what...but would the answer be He is everything to you, and everything in you longs for Him all the time, I dont want anything apart from Him, just all of me given and submitted to all of Him all the time....No matter what your answer is or where you may be at in your journey with Christ are you giving Him a part or all...

The church today is in danger family, what are you going to do about it? You may not be able to change the church but if you are willing and pliable to change yourself then the church will change. We have become a face of lights, shows, performance, fancy preachers and hidden agendas to the world but when the rubber meets the road we fail miserably...we go to work and try not to talk too much about our God, we go to school and try to keep our opinions to ourselves, we hang out with old friends because we feel obligated to and love them but we dont love them enough to tell them they will go to hell without our God and the love of Jesus to let Him take control of their lives, we sit down after a good dinner and turn on the latest episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives, we go sit at the local bar or out to the club with friends because we deserve a break and drinking isnt a sin just getting drunk is, should I keep going?......We are all guilty of holding onto a part of "self", it is hard to let go, hence how much emphasis is put on denying ourselves and picking up our cross to follow Him....what cross are you carrying???

In a Word I got about a month ago or so, He said take the thousands and give me ten, take the thousands of lukewarm christians and give me ten that are desperate and thirsty for more of me, never satisfied, like the nightwatch waiting for daybreak, give me ten that are on fire and available to mold to me....
