Living Proof

God has really and truly brought me through it's because of God I'm still standing

I've been: robbed, threaten, had surgery, went through pain and agony before having surgery, financial situations, (more bills than money) I have gone through but God brought me through. I promise you HE will bring you out and over any circumstance if you trust Him and stay in His word.1. Thessalonians 5:18

give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in  Christ Jesus

from the heart

Glory to God!!! Praising Him for another day!!! Unfair situations can occur in our lives, and while it is so easy to get upset and let our emotions spawn negative actions and thoughts, we have to remember  not to go there don't give in to what we feel, to realize and understand it's okay to reflect but with the decision that "I'm going to let this go" reason being is that God has too much instore for me, and my life to the let this little situation bring me down.

In Search Of A Leader

All people experience some degree of need and woundedness in their lives. When you are in need, it is important to know where to seek help. Know that God is always available and willing to help. Sometimes, God even uses a person's needs to cause him or her to turn to Him. In the lesson, the leper acknowledged his need and recognized Jesus as one who could minister to his need. God desires that we experience wholeness. Turning to God may not result in complete physical… Continue

Pleading for mercy Adult Christian Life. Sunday school quarterly

God desires that all believers express their faith in Him. The Bible

tells us that "without faith it is impossible to please God" (Heb. 11:6

Niv) Sometimes, God allows us to face difficulties and trying

circumstances to challenge our faith. Mark 7:24-30 clearly shows that

Jesus rewards persistent and tenacious faith. The events described in

the passage occurred within a brief span of time. Often, however, the

challenges we face occur over a longer…

The gain in giving

Following Christ requires sacrifice. It requires the believer to get rid of anything that hinders his or her wholehearted commitment to Christ. For the man

in today's Scripture passage, it was possessions. Wealth, however, is

not the only thing that can be stumbling block to salvation. There are

many things that cause people to be self-reliant- intelligence and

talent are two examples. For each person, the…

The Beauty Of Nonconformity Adult Christian Life Adult sunday school quarterly.

God desires that all believers live a holy life. Some may view this as difficult, if not impossible, in contemporary society because modern culture often contradicts the holiness God requires. Before salvation, people define themselves according to culture but when they become Christians, define themselves according to Christ. The Christian life requires turning from evil, and a desire to be holy. Believers cannot rely on their own strength as they strive to live pure lives, but they must… Continue

Chosen to proclaim taken from the Adult sunday school quarterly living the lesson

Current mood: blessed

Believers are challenged to proclaim God in the society in which they live.

This challenge requires creativity in contemporary society. Evangelism may be prohibited in the workplace. Some workers are offended by the open display of religious symbols.

Open prayer may be prohibited as well. Perhaps the best approach to evangelism in a hostile enviroment is simply… Continue

Accountability taken from New believers Study Daily Bible Online.com

The Bible makes it clear that we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad." (2nd Corinthians 5:10)

The Judgment Seat of Christ is not to determine whether or not we will make it into Heaven that has already been decided by Jesus' work at the Cross, rather the Judgment Seat of Christ, involves believers giving an… Continue

Love Taken from the New believers study Daily Bible Online.com

The Bible tells us that the two most important commandments both involved love, "Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark… Continue

Perseverance refers to our endurance and commitment to walk with God. Though we may stumble at times and falter, we get right back up, repent and confess our sins to God and continue our Christian walk right where we left off. We need to remember that when we become Christians life does not get easier and it may even get harder. Jesus told us that in this life we will have tribulation,… Continue

Forgiveness is one of the most important principles in a Christian's life; we have a relationship with God only because Christ died on the Cross in order that we could have forgiveness of our sins.

The Bible commands us to be kind and forgive one another, "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil… Continue

Meaning of discernment taken from New believers section on DailyBible.com

Very helpful!

As we live a life or purity, honesty and integrity we learn to develop our discernment. Discernment is the ability to determine the things of God from the things of the world, to tell the difference between good and evil.

Satan's biggest weapons against us are lies and deceit followed by compromise, as the Bible tells us Satan is the father of lies and a murderer, "He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no… Continue

Prayer from living for the Lord

Prayer:

Praise The Lord!!! this passage is taken from the book the Power of a Praying Woman. I feel this passage can help anybody The author of this book encourages readers to look upon this idea of cleansing your heart not as a judgment that your heart is dirty, but as God's call for us to get completely right before Him so He can bring all the blessings He has for us in to our lives.

We need to see it as God preparing us for the important work He has ahead for us to do. In order to… Continue

We even treat our Lord and savior with same attitude. We want Him to quickly to answer our prayers and to instantly bless us. We don't want to wait on Him. We want it now our way. God… Continue
