The apostle John's Gospel makes our Christian life sound pretty simple: We listen to Christ's voice, follow him and he leads us to eternal life. The story is easty to interpret. We are the sheep; Christ is the shepherd; we hear his voice and follow him. Continue
So why is it, then, that our lives are often such a muddle? So weighted with ambiguity? We're so often unclear about what to do next, and even when we get somewhat clear on what we think we…

Men are programmed to think with their fists more than with their brains most of the time.
For instance if two ladies have a misunderstanding they would argue and argue and argue. Although arguing is not the wise way to go, in their arguments they are actually analyzing motives, reasons and other things to consider in relation to the problem at hand. So at best at the end of the argument they could reach a… Continue

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and
blameless before him in love.
He destined us for adoption as his children through…

I’m sure you’ve heard many people preach about the importance of having a vision. I’m sure you’ve heard many preachers try to make you see the word ‘Vision’ from different perspectives.
Well I would like you today to see vision from a three dimensional view. I would like you to see past its primary side.
The 1st thing that comes to mind when you hear the word vision is an expectation – something someone… Continue

One extremely popular adage about knowledge is that “knowledge is power.” However, that is not true. The truth is that knowledge empowers but it is not power.
If knowledge is power it then means that power is knowledge. That means that college professors are more powerful than presidents. If knowledge is power, it means the most powerful person in the world is some old guy or lady in a library probably reading… Continue

SEE EVERYTHING THROUGH THE EYES OF GOD’S WORD
God’s word is often referred to as ‘light’ in the Bible. Once King David said; your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
One unique thing about light is that it determines how things appear when you look at a thing.
Have you entered a clothing store that had a coloured bulb? Maybe a blue or red bulb..? When you buy something inside… Continue

STOP USING THE WORD PIMP IN YOUR DAILY LINGO:
A lot of people seem to like using the word pimp. They say “Pimp My Ride”, ”Pimp my house”, “Pimp my cell phone.”
If you look at it closely, you would see that the word ‘Pimp’ is being used as a substitute for the word ‘improve’ or ‘upgrade.’
‘Pimp my ride’ basically means improve my car or upgrade my car. ‘Pimp my house’ basically means upgrade the… Continue

A wise King once said that it is better to live on the roof of a house than inside a house that has a woman who loves to make trouble and talk too much.
Some women would drive their husband crazy with their mouths; it’s only a matter of time.
My advice for every woman is to fill your heart and mind with words of wisdom. And knowing that no book on earth can contain greater wisdom than the Bible, I guess… Continue

The whole world was plunged into the second world war thanks to one man who was unanimously voted for as the most evil man that ever existed. That man was Adolf Hitler.
In any case I have always doubted that Hitler was the most evil person to ever exist. There are lots of evil people around that are more evil than Adult Hitler, the only thing is that they haven’t had the means and the opportunity to do what… Continue

It seems to be a general belief that it is romantic to bring your wife breakfast in bed. However some men still refuse to do something this simple every once in a while.
What gets to me is the reason why. They look at it as being too mushy. If you ask me, you must be crazy. You just got up from the bed you spent the entire night cuddling your wife in. But now it’s too mushy for you to get her breakfast in bed? You… Continue

There is a popular adage that goes, “Show me your friend(s) and I would show you who you are.”
That is just so true.
As a matter of fact. If you are still trying to find yourself? If you are still trying to find out what kind of person you are? If you want to know if you are a good guy or a good lady. Then look at the friends you have.
Beyond finding out who you are and where you are today, looking at your… Continue

The way the world is today, it requires great effort to go through an entire day without coming across a nude or sex related picture, billboard, web page ad banner, movie, movie ad, etc. Even in schools, kids (especially boys) in kindergarten talk about sex and the latest porno they watched on the web, yet their parents think they are their precious little angels.
Sex and porno is all around us.
The greatest… Continue

Some women are literally living in hell. I mean it’s like those who would be condemned to live in hell after judgement day are being let off easy compared to what some women are going through.
A long time ago a heavy weight boxing champion who walked down the aisle with a woman and made his vows before God and man was on the News for beating his wife. How can a heavy weight boxing champion claim he has a heart yet… Continue

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE DRUG PROBLEMS:
If you have drug problems, I know what you should do to end it.
First, become a Christian – pray the prayer of salvation and receive Jesus into your heart.
Secondly, receive the Holy Spirit of God – Ask God in prayer to give you the Holy Spirit. Don’t worry he would answer.
Thirdly, renew your mind. How do you renew your mind? The answer is quite simple. It… Continue

YOUR HEART IS WHERE YOUR MONEY IS:
You can tell a lot about a person by what they spend their money on.
Money represents its owner’s hard work (its owner’s sweat), even when it isn’t gotten through hard work it still feels to its owner as though it was. Money is its owner’s channel to link him/her with their heart’s desire. In a way money represents part of its owner – the part called the heart.
If someone… Continue

Sometimes in life things get tough and it might be so bad that for a split second we may contemplate suicide. I’ve been there. It takes a lot for me to admit it but I’ve been there - when you begin to wonder if life is worth living.
I learnt how to deal with those moments when I discovered something about Abraham that I had never noticed before: Abraham died for God even though he was still living.
Abraham abandoned… Continue

DON’T FORGET THOSE WHO HELPED YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY :
I’ve often heard people complain about how they helped someone who is rich and famous today get to where s/he is but that person has all too easily forgotten about them. They complain that most never even bothered to call and say thank you even though it’s clear they should’ve done better than that.
The funny thing is that those people talking don’t… Continue
