- Phone 706/734- 4126 My name is Pastor Rick Sumner and my wife's name is Wanda. We live in Trion, Ga. In a small community called Mountianview. The church is called "Cornerstone of Trion". My wife and I have four wonderful daughters and two great sons .We were called to this small community a few years back. When God showed me the place I was to build..I was thinking God "How Can This Be?" It was really grown up in underbrush. They were a house that was barely visible...and this was to be the start of Gods work. I obeyed God and wala! now we have a beutiful littel church. God has blessed us with seeing many saved and healed by His spirit.
We are still and always will be a work in the making. I am so excited about what God is doing. We are getting ready to build another church directly behind the church building we are currently in. Soon I will have pictures on LIBAW so you can see what God can do "If we will only trust and obey him.
It has not all been easy but He is faithful to His word and has seen our family through.
We have a youth ministry that includes the worship of God through sign and skits. The kids I think are the annoited ones here. LOL! They really love God.
We have people from all denominations. But...no matter what Denomination you currently belong just always remember it is about Christ and His life in you.
***My Music- I have written about my family, my life, and about the Lord. I'm not trying to be a country singer, that was the past. I am getting ready to do a new CD with Trend Records called "The Past, The Present, and a Future." We are also getting ready to do a video called "The other side of America" (706)734-4126 Pastor Rick

- I once traveled and played in rock bands and I have written many songs. However none of what I have done in my past has been as great as what God is doing now and will do in our future.
I play many different instruments. I love to study and to discuss the bible in depth with those who can do this without argument.

A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Well pastor rick has been ask to go back to work for Trend Records by Tom Hodges the president and publisher... It all started with a phone call from Warner Bros to Tom needing songs from pastor rick who had been song writer of the year in 93... He gave alot up to pastor...
