A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door. She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give…

THERE is a story told about how the eagle copes with a storm. Noted for their size, strength, and powers of flight and vision, the eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks and will fly to some high spot to wait for the winds to come. We must be in tune with the Holy Spirit. We must not bring reproach to the Lord by the way we live our lives outside the church walls. We must "get right" with the Lord. If we won't repent of sin, we are deceiving ourselves. Many have been playing church, but God is going to judge the sin that is rampant in our midst. God hates sin. Sin separates us from the Lord.…

The early church in the Book of Acts was rocking the boat. They were making people angry by preaching the truth. Some people were martyred, willing to die for the cause of Christ. In acts 19:19 many who had been involved with the occult brought their "curious arts" and burned them in a bonfire. The worth of the books and items were 50,000 pieces of silver (about $48,000 in today's value, and millions in Bible times). A piece of silver was a day's wage in the New…

Thank you sir, all about Christ for me!
Yes---when the governments of USA start demanding Pastors to host gay and lesbian marriages---I am praying many will stand up to the banner of Jesus Christ and say NO! Judgements of God are on the lands----and we who truly believe in a living Messiah need to STEP UP to the Plate of Yahweh----even unto death! Shalom

♥Jackie Farley♥ said… Greetings Pastor Rick, we are already friends and I'm so glad for that, but this is the first time coming on your page and I'm so glad I did. You have a great page and so thankful that God is blessing your ministry there in Georgia. My daughter lives in Dalton, GA and I visit there every year, they are attending "Rock Bridge."
Pastor, it's so nice to be on your page and be blessed by the Lord and also be able to chuckle a bit from the really cool jokes you've posted, I loved them. Thanks for being here on LIBAW with us and sharing your encouraging post and comments.
God bless,
Yours in Christ,
