Many children, who are diagnosed at a very young age with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), may in fact have Asperger’s Syndrome (Brunett & Williams, 2005). Asperger’s Syndrome is typically characterized by average to above average intelligence, poor social communication, poor social skills, lack of eye contact, rigid need for rules and routine, anxiety and/or depression, pedantic speech, sensory processing difficulty, and persevered thought processes. Thank you for your well wishes. I am doing great. Please remember me in prayer to our Father. I am scheduled for breast cancer surgery on the fourth of February. I am very comfortable with this. You see, I have given it to the Great Physician. Amen
Love you my sister..
IM SO GLAD TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR SONS FOOT DOING OK. YAH, WE LOVE TO FISH. I THINK WE ARE GONNA HEAD OUT TO GALVESTON THIS MEMORIAL WEEKEND, AND FISH OUR BUTTS OFF. MY HUSBAND WANTS TO HAVE A FISH FRY. FINE WITH ME AS LONG AS HE'S COOKING IT. LOL GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU. I HOPE YOUR DAY IS GREAT!
I pray all is well with you and your family today!
How was your sons Dr's appointment? Did they get out whatever was in his foot?...and is he ok?
I hope it went well.
Well I hear you on those super crazy weeks! Seems as if you hardly even have time to take a breath and when you think you can sit and breath all you can think about is..did I forget anything? I know I need to do something but what is it...
Or at least thats how it is here.
I take my son next week for his APD test. The results will determine the kind of help he needs next year.
I am actually going to put my son in a private christian school. I don't know if it's an option for you(private school) His scolarship is paid for through McKay scolarships for children with disabilities. He has failed 2nd grade this year but they will pass him anyway due to only being able to fail elem. 3 times. I guess they will save the other 2 times if they think he needs it in 4th and 5th grade. I'm praying to God and I know he will not need it.
Well enough about me!
Write me when you get a chance and let me know how it went.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
Linn
It is really nice to meet you. I will be praying for your son. That is just so strange. My sons foot swelled up one time for about a week. Come to find out, he had stepped on a dead yellow jacket. Ouch! I hope you have a great day. Hope to talk to you more soon.
I was looking at your pictures, your boys are beautiful!
Thank you for the post in the discussions area, it made me feel better to know that I'm not alone when it comes to children who have special needs or are considered different. I look forward to hearing more from you and hopefully we can share how we deal with things that come up with our children in our daily lives.
I pray that you enjoy LIBAW and pray it's as much of a blessing to you as it is to me!
Your friend in Christ,
Linn
