Psa 71:16-18 WEB I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord Yahweh. I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone. (17) God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works. (18) Yes, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don’t forsake me, Until I have declared your strength to the next generation, Your might to everyone who is to come.
Rev. Spann rededicated his life to Jesus in March of 1978. In October of the same year he received the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Immediately the gifts of the Spirit began to manifest in his life. The day after Rev. Spann’s Spirit baptism God led him to lay hands on a paralyzed man and the paralysis disappeared.
While employed as an electrical instructor with the I.B.E.W. and studying for a degree in electrical engineering God called Rev. to instruct His people in the arena of the miraculous. In preparation for the call Ulysses and his wife Joyce began their training through Word of Faith Bible School, G. Whetstone Worldwide Ministry School of Biblical Studies and the LeSea Bible Extension School.
During the preparation time Ulysses and Joyce busied themselves in prison ministry, hospital ministry, held several positions of leadership in the local church, spent several years as Associate Pastors and assisted in pioneering several churches.
Continuing to fulfill the mandate of God Rev. Spann founded Mighty Wind Ministries and the Oasis of Life Church where he and his wife pastured for 16 years. Also during this time Rev. Spann held positions of Area and District Director with International Convention of Faith Ministries.
Rev. Spann travels the Unites States and overseas proclaiming the uncompromised Word of God. He conducts Healing Clinics, Miracle Services and Signs and Wonders Boot Camps where believers are taught how to operate in the supernatural power of God. The Word of Knowledge, Gifts of Healings and Working of Miracles are manifested regularly as Rev. Spann ministers the Word of God with anointed simplicity. People have been raised from commas; total and partial deaf healed; lupus, cancer, aids healed; volleyball size tumor instantly disappeared; stroke victims healed. These are but a few of the notable miracles and healings wrought by the Spirit of God through the hands of Rev Spann

After six months of dealing with swelling legs, hurting, swelling knees, rebuking pain, confessing healing scriptures and seeing no results I decided to see a doctor and find out exactly what was wrong.
