- I am about the most optimistic person you will ever meet. The glass is always half full with me. I come from a family of four and I am so lucky to have a family that is as close as we all our. I am the youngest and pray to God everyday for all the wonderful things he has blessed me with in my life. God blessed me with a Hard work eithic and what I would like to say is great athletic ability. I played football at the University of Illinois and met some great friends along the way. - My Testimony
- I was raised in a christian family. I always had good morals and knew the difference between right and wrong. I have prayed everynight for as long as I can remember. However I didnt attend church regularly. For most of my life I would say I was a Christian who always gave thanks to God. Untill about two months ago when my life really changed. I read the Story and the holy spirit came to me in full force. Its funny that it happend then because I just learned that the number one way to become spiritually closer to God is to read the bible. It wasnt unitll I started to read The Story that I was fully convicted. I have not missed a day of church sense then and I have come to realize that for the last 25 years I was just a Christian. Now I know what it is to be a follower of Christ. The holy spirit is in me and my entire life has changed. I no longer do the childish and immature things that I did for so long. I am truly living my life the way God intended us to all live. I have surendered my life to Jesus Christ our lord and Savior and I have never experienced a high like this. To take it one step further I am getting bapatized this Sunday to put the final stamp on my journey with God. The best part of my story is my journey through life was great. I got to play college football and experience things that only a handfull of people can even say they did. However, none of that even compares to the way I feel now. I ask God for forgivness that it took me 25 years to get to this point but now that I am here the future is only going to get better. I study the bible regularly and K Love is the only station I listen to in my car. I pray that God will keep blessing me with all the knowledge I need to spread his word to others. After all he did for us the least we can do is spread his word and worship him like he intended us to.
- Favorite Activities
- Going to church, Praying, spreading the word of our savior Jesus Christ so others can have the gift that we all have. Playing basketball, Lifting weights, and just thanking God for every breath he gives me on his beautiful earth.

- The Story. The Bible. The Case for Christ. I have just started my journey and I plan to do a lot more reading in the future.

- There are so many I could fill up page after page. The entire book of John for starters. Im sure it is many others but it is mine as well.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 1:27 He is the one who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.
John 1:32 Then John gave his testimony. "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, "the man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.
- What would you say is your Spiritual gift?
- Some people know what there gifts our in life. I am sure to say I know for a fact God made me to be a leader. I was Point guard in basketball and I played quarterback in football. Both positions the ball was in my hands all the time and it was up to me to make the right decisions. To make my team around me better. I know my gift is evangelism. I have lead by examply my entire life and my story only makes my case stronger. As good as my life was it doesnt even compare to the way it is now. I want my friends and everyone out there to realize that they too can have this gift. For it is free. All you have to do is surrender. For those that are not convicted this is difficult to understand. I was the same way. I didnt want to give up some of the things that I was doing that I thought was so much fun. But we all know nothing can compare to the Holy Spirit. I am going to spread the word of the Lord and let as many as I can know that they too can have what we all have. God Bless.

Donna Stuart said… - Welcome!! You have an incredible testimony and I can't wait to hear how exciting your baptism was. It is wonderful to read how you were raised in church and always had that Christian belief. I raised my kids in church, two of them are still in the way, the third is very anti-christian, I would call her atheist because deep down inside she knows, and she does question things at times, but she sure doesn't want anything to do with anyone who calls themselves "Christian". Really scares me that she could miss Heaven, but God did give us the free will to come to Him and He won't force himself on any of us. I just hope and pray she will come to truly know Him before its too late. Anyway, Congrats on your dedication and your baptism. You will have to let me know how it went. I expect it was very exciting.
