Hello Friends. We are The Ransom. Thank you for adding us or looking us up. We are a Christian Rock band out of Jacksonville, North Carolina and we have been doing music as a band now for about 2 and a half years. God has been doing great things with us and through us and we know that we are nothing without Him anyways. We released our first EP in December 2008. We have since then been working on more songs and hopefully we will be working on a new album including the songs off of the EP later this year. We also have some pretty amazing opportunities getting ready to happen. We are looking to get in on The Extreme Tour which will kick off in June. It is the nations largest extreme sport tour and it is all positive artists only. Along with this, we are going to be attending GMA week in Nashville in April where we will have a chance to be showcased in front of some of the biggest leaders in the Christian musis industry. We are also trying to line up shows around the US that may possibly come into a town near you, especially with The Extreme Tour.

We as a band have a vision to spread the message of love, hope, and salvation through Jesus. We long to share of The Ransom that was given in exchange for our lives. That Ransom that was paid by Jesus exchanging His life for our lives, the only sacrifice that would have and has saved us from a terrible eternity. This is the vision that was given to Alex and Rachael when they started this band.

When they were just dating, God gave them both the same vision in a weeks time of playing music in front of thousands of people in stadiums. It was then that they knew that they would in a sense, be making music for the rest of their lives. So they started in church playing with the praise team. Eventually, they found a bassist and drummer and started their own band. Now after 2 and a half years, they are playing in different cities in North Carolina spreading the message that has been given them. But the band isn't stopping their with your help.

We are looking for fellow believers to support the minsitry that God has given to us. We need people to pray for us, to lift us up. Also, your support in helping us get out into the community and into different churches and venues to better pursue the calling and the vision God has placed on our lives is much appreciated.
