My Testimony
Many times you find yourself somehow caught up in different types of situations, some minor and some rather difficult but the fact of the matter is your there. Throughout my years I've witness myself excel up to the highest plateau of success and also fall into the deepest state of despair and misery. But I guess it was always in my nature to evaluate the situation, rather than act off of impulse. The challenges that I've been faced with in life has caused me to look deep into the way in which I chose to live it.

However, a few years ago I decided to stop justifying the actions of others but learn to see things at face value and either accept it or disregard it. I must say that doing so at times gave me peace and at others caused a lot of heartaches but do I have any regrets….not at all. There were many moments where I've brought shame to myself and my family because as MEN we do have a role to play in both the home and the outside world. I learned early on that making excuses only leave room for error and sometimes the consequences are horrendous. Still, day after day, I see some of the good, bad, and ugly things that I've done to people play out in the lives of others, which caused me to believe that we all are in fact replicas to one another.

Generation after generation it's the same ol' games, and the same ol' struggles yet when you find yourself in the mist of a situation you often wonder how in the world did I get myself caught up in this one! Lately, I stop caring about the "how" and "why"… simply drove myself to no end, didn't necessarily have a destination just put it on cruise control and went with the flow of things, soon only to find out that even the wind is blown at a certain time, in a specific direction, so who am I to be considered as greater. We would like to believe that we are in control of our lives but we're not, though I do have reasons to believe that we have been given the authority to choose the directions in which we would like our lives to be led.

The world portray to offer what's best and beneficial to us but it’s our responsibility to allow God, through us, to give it what it needs instead. I'm beginning to have a much greater appreciation about life NOW more than ever before so it's very important that you also surround yourself with positive people that are actually doing something with their lives rather than just talking about it.

To me life is like a box of chocolates, they come in a variety of flavors and sizes but in order for them to remain fresh and edible to enjoy that must stay covered at all times....so "Who’s Covering You"!
What would you say is your Spiritual gift?
My desired spiritual gift is the "spirit of obedience"!
