- I am a 27 year old, mother and wife. My husband and I have a beautiful 7 year old daughter who is starting 2nd grade. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in January of 2003 and then diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in December of 2006.
- My Testimony
- I was raised in the Catholic church, went to Catholic school up until I went into 6th grade. My parents had divorced that summer and my mom felt that as tho we were looked down upon because she had divorced my father. I went through my Jr.-high and high-school years not really being a part of any kind of church. My mom married her 2nd husband (now ex) when I was a freshman and he was raised in the Pentecost Church. We all went a few times here and there but nothing on a constant basis, but I knew that I really liked being a part of that kind of church. About a year and a half or so after I met my husband he started working for someone my now ex-step-father had worked for and he just so happened to be a pastor of a Pentecost Church not far from where we lived. We started going there and instantly I knew that this kind of church is where my family and I belonged. I instantly fell in love with the worship music, and the fact that the pastor preached exactly what the Bible says, nothing more, nothing less. Through the years we were in and out of the church. In a 2 month span of time I had lost 3 people in my family, two of whom I was extremely close to, which in turn made me question whether or not God really was who the Bible said he was and if so, why would he put me through all the hurt and pain that I had gone through. We all stopped going to church for a while until our old pastor/husbands boss had suggested that we stop by a new Pentecostal Church that was was being pastored by someone that they were going to church with that is only about 15 minutes from our house. We went there one Sunday and it really felt like God was saying, "You are home, this is where I want you to be". My family and I have been going to that church now steady since the beginning of this year.
- Favorite Activities
- I love doing things where I can be around my family and friends. I love watching movies and listening to music and just being around those I love. Music is a big part of my life and I love singing or just listening to it.
- Favorite Music / Movies / Tv Shows / Books
- I listen to all kinds of music and watch all kinds of movies that it is hard to pick out what my favorite is. I watch NCIS, House, Burn Notice.
