I wanted to say Happy Easter to you,And thank God for sending his only begotten Son,for he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,and by his wounds we were healed.
I want to thank you for all you support, and comments and especially your prayers....
Christ has Risen.......Amen

This past Halloween weekend, I was privileged to spend it in the presence of Christ for 72 hours non-stop. It was amazing. So, here I am to share my experience with you all:
I left on Thursday evening to go get locked up in a church for 72 hours with a bunch of women who are in love with Christ, just as myself. We met at a local church here where I live and boarded a bus to a destination we had no idea where. We left on a 30 minute bus ride, and to find out it was 2 blocks down the road. Okay, a church. Yet the thing was, we had been instructed to not bring any laptops, no cell phones, no cameras, no watches, nothing but clothes for the days we would be isolated and personal hygiene essentials. Did I say isolated? Yes, we were getting locked up in a church isolated from the world around us.
I didn't know what to expect when we first arrived. We were assigned rooms to sleep in with three other women. I thank God none of my roommates snored because I get enough of that at home. We arrived at about 9p.m. (not quite sure about the time) and we gathered in the chapel. There we did our first worship service together, and prayed. And it was off to bed.
The next morning, we again gathered in the chapel, worshipped and praised God, did communion, and meditated. Then it was off to breakfast. The one thing that took me some time to get used to was the fact that there were women there who waited on us hand and foot. They opened doors for us, we were not allowed to do it on our own, they served us all our meals, they cooked for us, the cleaned up after us, they even opened the bathroom doors for us. Now with me, I was used to serving my family, not being able to sit down to a hot meal, and cleaning up after everyone. What a relief! I actually thought i was at a spa retreat.
Anyway, we were divided into six tables after breakfast, and each table was named after women of the New Testament. I was privileged to sit with the Prince of Peace at the table of Priscilla. Some of you are probably wondering who Priscilla is, well, I will tell you a bit: Priscilla was passionate for Christ and eager to draw others to Him. She and Aquila are mentioned seven times in the New Testament, never one without the other. They were an extraordinary husband-wife ministry team. Priscilla was not a dead end, a woman focused on her own needs and growth. Her love for the Lord was a conduit of life for others. As soon as she mastered something, she passed it on. Some consider the churches of Corinth and Ephesus to be Paul's most successful churches. Undoubtedly, Priscilla and Aquila deserve some of the credit. I thought to myself, what more could I ask for than to sit at a table named for Priscilla.
We women were taught many new things to have a successful spiritual life. We had experienced God's true AGAPE love. We learned about the different aspects of God's amazing grace, about the proper way to use His armor and His sword, we learned the importance of staying caught up in His Truth, how to successfully intercede for one another, and the list just goes on. We learned, we worshipped and praised Him, we had daily communion with Him, we meditated and we prayed. And boy did we pray. We felt His presence with us for the whole 72 hours. We were showered in the Holy Spirit. (And whoever said God has a great sense of humor, they were not lying, because He did something.)
My experience, I immediately bonded with a young woman who was a brand new babe in Christ. I shared so many emotions with her and not realizing it. Her heart was crying out for compassion, for strength. Everytime she would cry, I would cry along side her. I didn't even have to be in the same room as her to be as close as I was with her spiritually. Alot of times, my heart would begin to ache as she knelt before the Lord, asking for Him to be a part of her life and for Him to guide her in many areas. And many times, out of no where, she would walk right up and whisper in my ear, "thank you."
It was an amazing experience. We women came together and sought after God, trying to catch Him. We had been chasing Him running as fast as we could, only to seek His face. There were many women on different levels of spiritual maturity. And there were some who were brand new babes in Christ. The one thing we had in common- the love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. And the experience of seeing His beautiful face, and smelling His sweet aroma.
