About Me

I a child saved by the amazing grace of God. I have been a Christian since 2004, but the journey to salvation began much earlier than that. I love meeting new people and sharing stories.
I'm loriginally from Massachusetts, but I'm not living and working in Florida. Please don't ask me to say, "Pahk the cah in Hahvid, yahd." I get that a lot! :-)

My Testimony

I began seeking God when I was in high school. I had no good role models or anyone to help guide me in the right direction. I tried so many things to fill the deep void I felt in my life; drugs, relationships, sex, etc.. Finally, in May of 2000, I had an amazing dream where Jesus appeared to me. He simply told me that things were going to be alright and I was where I was supposed to be, which was in the US Army at that time. I didn't have anyone to disciple me, so I put God on the shelf for a while, but occationally picked up the Bible.
In September of 2003, I said the sinner's prayer in my truck on the way to my new residence after finishing my time in the army. A year later, my world was shaken and ripped from underneath me. My fiance' (at that time) left me for another girl. I was stuck living in a state far from my family and true friends. I was so alone. That is when I surrendered my life to Christ, knowing only He could fill the void and get me back on my feet. I began going to church and have been growing in the faith and in my relationship with Christ ever since.

Camping, sports; playing video games, board games, and cards with friends; watching movies; and cooking (especially cheesecake!)

Music - Pretty much anything Christian alternative, country, and classic rock.
Movies - Too many to count, but here are a few at the top of my list: Star Trek (oh yah! the new one), The Count of Monte Cristo, The Princess Bride, The Prestige.
TV Shows - House M.D., Family Guy (yes, I know it can be so wrong sometimes), Whose Line Is It Anyway.
Books - Bible (Luke, Esther, Romans), Captivating, Blue Like Jazz, Mere Christianity, Great Expectations, Jane Eyre.

What would you say is your Spiritual gift?

I truly enjoy helping others. Whether it be cooking for some one, giving a friend a back massage, or simply giving some one a hug when they need it, I truly love to help others people better their situation. What has hurt the most is that I have been taken advantage of often, but I know God has seen my heart and He will grant my reward.
