About Me
I am a Pastor in Eldoret, Kenya, which is in East Africa. I am married and we have a son. We are a struggling ministry, and do believe God for breakthrough. We also take care of three needy children in our house. The areas of our Ministry is:
1. Planting CHURCHES
2. Helping and building a home for really needy and destitute children.
3. To teach ministers the word, and this can be done through opening Bible colleges and School of Ministries.
My Testimony
MY LIFE.
I am the first born son among nine children, born from a Christian mother and a heathen father. In My family, God saved me and my mother alone, whereas others are decided not to give their lives to Christ, but we are still praying for them.

Due to the salvation that I professed, I got much trouble with my father who is still unsaved. The troubles chased me out of home and when I was only 16 years old, that is between 1997 to 1999, I was a street boy in one of the small towns of Kenya.I decided to live my life out of God's word, due to the painful sufferings and memories of my life. I spoke to myself and said, God was not there, and if HE was there then HE did not care about me. The questions were, why does God allow me, as young as I am to pass through hatred? I entered into drugs such as smoking Bang' and local alcohol called Chang'aa in Kenya. My life was in a mess, for those two years, I was a street boy. I did not care about anything, one thing I wanted God to do for me was to strangle and kill me. I became a hawker, selling cookies, candies and of course drugs,I used to travel many times as I do the business.

MY SALVATION.
It was in 1999, at exactly 3:00 p.m,in September, when I was on my daily business trips, that our van got an accident, which left two people dead, I was the immediate person to die, but immediately I heard a voice telling me, "I HAVE SPARED YOUR LIFE FOR A PURPOSE" I was then rushed to hospital with some few external and internal injuries. I regained my conscience, and the voice again told me "Thomas, I have chosen you, but you have decided to ignore me, If you give me a chance in your life, I will turn it, around and use you for my glory, I will also bring great men to you, which some will take you to their countries as a mighty man of God." I then gave my life to Jesus that year in November, and decided to turn my life around for Jesus.

MY MINISTRY'S CALLING.
The Lord called me into Ministry in April. HE told me that He have called me to be an Apostle to the world. From there I was given a chance to be the chief Usher under my first ever church. The calling was reaffirmed when my Bishop from Redeemed Gospel Church - Eldoret, called me and prophesied the same in 2002 and gave me the post of the Assistant Pastor, and the coordinator of all the cell groups in our church. The Bishop then sent me to the Bible School in Jan 2003, which I took my first year Certificate in Church Ministries. I then continued for other two more years and got my Advanced Diploma in Biblical Studies, then again I continued a with another two years in my studies and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Bible Theology. I ma currently doing a distant studies for my Doctorate in Ministry with LANDMARK BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY from Texas, U.S.A, and Doctorate of Divinity from Shalom Bible College situated in Des moines, Iowa.

MINISTRY OPERATIONS.
I have been able to move to some few different countries of Africa to preach there, these countries include: Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC Congo.
On December 2007,I then began a small fellowship, after graduating with a Bachelors Degree. The fellowship began as an evening prayers between neighbors, which turned to be a church. We are currently having an average of (20)adults.The Ministry is called: IMPACT HARVEST OUTREACH MINISTRIES/LIFEIMPACTCENTER. And are in the process of seeking for registration, though in Kenya the minimum requirements are a number for registration is 50 adults, a church bank account, which we have but is not active, a land belonging to the church, which we are still believing God for, and Instruments which we do not have even a microphone.
Please pray for us here.
Favorite Activities
I like teaching the word, preaching and counselling. Travelling as we share the word.
Favorite Music / Movies / Tv Shows / Books
Gospels.
Favorite Quotations
Mostly found with John C. Maxwell, Rick Warren, Paul Galligan.
What would you say is your Spiritual gift?
I cannot claim any, for the Spirit gives as HE wills. Many times I have operated in almost all the nine gifts of the Spirit. Which are Word of Wisdom, Word of knowledge, Faith, Discerning of Spirits, Gifts of Healings, Workings of Miracles, Tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy.

Do away with fear!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted on May 29, 2009 at 3:24am 1 Comment

Who says, "You can feel fear and do it anyway"? Is that what they do? Are they saying that because they've actually done it? Or is it just something easy to say but REALLY tough to do?

I suspect it's the latter. After all, everyone faces fear, or more specifically really BIG giants.

I loved his humor and his way of talking about David's issues using today's slang and examples. He turned David into a very human, very real person. David is the guy in the Bible that slays the… Continue

Do you live in a constant fear?

Posted on May 29, 2009 at 3:21am 0 Comments

Yup, some people are literally in a constant state of fear. They feel paralyzed. With all that's happening in our nation and in our world, they're afraid to do much of anything these days. In my lifetime I don't ever remember seeing this happen to so many on such a wide scale.

There are so many questions.

How did we get into all this mess? What about my job and my family? And even more frightening, what about my finances? How can you not be in a state of fear when your… Continue

I want to thank all of you for praying for us, we have not recovered fully, but your prayers have really availed much fruit.
Right now, I see my family can even lift their heads, Praise be to GOD.
Continue praying for us.
God bless you.

TO FLY LIKE AN EAGLE

Eagle Facts & Parables of Mentoring

Rev. Thomas Opiyo

Isaiah 40:31 KJV

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Deut 32:11-12 NKJV

As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings, so the LORD alone led him,… Continue

I greet you my Dear Brother,Rev. Thomas Opiyo. I have been invited to come to Kenya next year to hold revival at New Hope Fellowship. Maybe we can meet at that time. I will be praying for you and the work you do there and abroad. Know that God will supply every need you have for the ministry and remember this simple truth: If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it! Be very blessed!
