My Testimony: My Story

I have had a total of 3 abortions. After the first one, I felt that my eternal life was damned. The second one I figured that I was going to hell anyway, so why even try. The third one I really wanted to keep the baby, but the father insisted I abort or he would leave. He left anyway less than a year later.

In those days my life centered around looks, drugs and alcohol. I was so one dimensional. I was defined by my outward appearance; for the outside beauty was ALL I had. Inside I felt ugly and ruined. When I was pregnant with my first-born child, I was convinced that God was going to use the opportunity to punish me. The pregnancy was the longest most tortuous experience I’d ever lived through. However, when my child was born, he was perfect. I knew then the power of forgiveness God has for each one of us.

Abortion is just like any other major sin, it is our choice. But the consequences are lasting and disguised. We know not WHY we’re convinced we are the scourge of society; We do not understand that we feel completely lost because of the inner turmoil going on inside us. The pain is so deep that many of us don't realize that our choice to kill our baby is the source. Without God in the aftermath-we are and will always be completely lost.

Abortion is murder; I committed murder three times. The baby is a being, not a bunch of cells. The baby is a separate individual from the moment of conception. Abortion is the cause for many other problematic situations of Society. Abortion erases HOPE. Without HOPE, we have no reason to live a life with morals and values.

I could stop here, but I wouldn’t be honoring our Creator:
