- Isaiah assures us that God is awesome. The Letter to the Philippians affirms that God is the fountainhead of peace. The psalm tells us that God is trustworthy, and the Gospel lets us know that God is purposeful. All of these revelations tell us that God is love—prodigal, extravagant, lavish, powerful, unshakable love.
