My Testimony
Pastor Mark is a simple man who believes that the answer to it all, everything, is Jesus Christ! He and his wife, and their family have dedicated their lives to reach the lost and minister to the Broken in this world.

Pastor Mark has been writing and recording music since way back in the DAY... There came a time however, when he fell and bumped his head and hurt his heart almost beyond repair. It was during this dark and lonely time that Jesus Christ reached down to him and promised to always be with him no matter how dark the valley would become. They walked hand in hand and came out together on the other side! His songs 'All I Need' and 'My Lord and I' are personal testimonies that contain this story of God's Amazing grace!

After discovering that Jesus was all he needed, like Job in the old testament, God blessed him more than he ever could have hoped for. Our Heavenly Father, our Papa God returned to him all he had lost and more! One of Pastor Mark's testimony verses is: Joel 2:25

God has a wonderful plan for each and every one of our lives! It doesn't matter where you've been or what you've fallen into in the past...Daddy God loves you and He will forgive you! He sent you a rope to pull you out of the pit you may find yourself in! He sent His son Jesus Christ to save you from the mess! All we have to do is reach out and take the hand offered!

So, even though Pastor Mark fell head first into a cesspool of sin and confusion and got tripped up by the enemy... God pulled him back out, set him back up on his feet and helped him gain the tools to reach out to those who are still lost and trying to stay afloat in that quagmire.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. 11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
"Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you." Ephesians 5: 8-13
What would you say is your Spiritual gift?
hmmmm, Teaching. Service. Compassion.

Its ONLY Stuff!

Families are losing their homes.

People are losing their automobiles.

Some are being taken in the night by those re-possession guys.

We are seeing boats for sale, cars for sale, vans for sale all along the roads and highways around here. People are trying to sell their "stuff" so they can buy groceries and pay their mortgages.

I was talking to a loved one the other day and he was telling me how he was… Continue

Living Poor in America

Posted on October 25, 2009 at 4:05pm 0 Comments

At the risk of being accused of "harping" - not to be mistaken for the playing of that stringed instrument commonly seen in the arms of angels and beautiful young classical musicians - I would like to address once again the subject of being poor in the United States.

My family and I do not consider ourselves poor.

Yes, if we were living like the normal American family seeking the American Dream, we would be one paycheck away from homelessness...and yes, our income level… Continue

Fight the Good Fight!!!

My family and I have been activists for many years. I guess whenever you stand up for a cause of any kind, and you decide to make that known to others, AND if you are willing to try and do something about it, you could be labeled an "activist".

As Christians, we are all called to be activists for the poor, the downtrodden, the outcast - those less fortunate than us in this world. Jesus wants all of… Continue

I Gave My Pants Away

Yes. I really did give a pair of my pants away.

You see? The young man in the photo right there is John. He showed up at our home today totally soaked from the rain. He was riding to town in a van full of 'hippies' to get some supplies for the group staying at the "holding camp" for this year's "gathering".

They were supposed to get some baby food and diapers, some other food and yes some booze for the "A-campers". On the way, the sister… Continue

Go Out and Get Em!

I LOVE sharing the Gospel with people!

Here we are on the road telling the world about Jesus and the wonderful message of God's love. There is nothing better than seeing people come to Christ, or a hurting soul healed and set free. I can think of nothing that I would rather be doing. I just LOVE IT when I am sitting on the platform or the stage and the Holy Spirit draws people to the altar. I am always so blessed to see people respond to the message of God's love.

Time is… Continue

Brother Mark, I am so sorry it took me so long to answer,I have had a full plate. The dream that keeps me picking up the guitar is that some day the music God gave me would lift the heart of Gods people, and call to the lost. Jesus said if we lift Him up it will draw folks to Him. That and the desire to some day record some of our music is the first thought of my heart everymorning. I would like to hear some of yours. Write back when you can, I would enjoy talking to another worshiper. Your brother.......Steve

You are so right, He is awsome. A loving father and yet God. I feel that we are kindred spirits, with a heart of worship and thanksgiving, for grace so undeserved and yet so freely given. Love ya bro. . Steve

Brother Mark, I too believe that it is God that provides every thing needed for life and Godliness. Jesus has proven to be the answer to every need and question in my life. I feel greatly favored by our Father in that His grace has been poured on me, more than I can contain. Which brings me to a song He gave me. Some of the lyrics are, "how can a man like me thank you for your gift of love, son just go give it away, I give more love every day". The song is titled, more love everyday. I'm not a gifted guitarest, my hands have been damaged, and my spine, but Gods calling is never taken away. He provided me with the ability to write, and play songs of worship and to lift the heart of those struggling. God bless you brother and I would love to take a road trip and get my wife away for a while, and meet new brothers and sisters in our precious Lord. I would love the oppertunity to share Gods love andmusic in a jam session. We stay home a lot due to our health issues and ,(needless to say, lack of funds) , but we have been praying for a way to get away and see new places and share the love that over flows in our lives. Remember that in prayer if you will and I will keep you and your family and calling in my prayers. Thanks for the e-mail and feel free to write any time . Could I add you to my friends list? In the love of our precious risen saviour, your brother in Christ. Steve

Psalm20:1-6 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you, May He send you help from the sanctuary, and srengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings and burnt sacrifice. May He grant you according to your hearts desire, and fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvtion, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill your petitions.

We are just trying to see how it all is going to fall in place. We just don't want to miss God... What we have as of now is all paid for. We have no bills. And I want to keep us that way. But at the same time we don't have alot of money coming in. But I know that God will make away. These people hear me all the time telling them what we as a church are going to do. I know they fine it hard to see what I see. But at night I go to where we are going to buld our new church and I talk to the ground and I call forth in the name of JESUS a CHURCH... It is as deep calling to deep. But in my spirit this church is real. It just hasn;t been born so to speak. But My faith say's church. And I;m calling those thing's as thou they be not. Pastor Mark it will happen. Just stand with me on this.......until next time....pastor Rick
