My Testimony: I was raised in the Church of the Nazarene. The bus would pick me up because my parents didn't attend. I was molested at the age of 6 and raped at the age of 14. I married at the age of 14 the first time. After many marriages I had a son at 16 that I lost custody of because I didn't know how to be a mother after my divorce from his father. He hasn't spoken to me since he was 15. He is 28 now. He lives only 25 miles from me and I don't even know what he looks like. I helped to raise my niece after I was older, who I now consider my daughter. She has two beautiful girls, Piper age 3 and Willow age 3 months that ARE my granchildren. I have two step-sons Cody 17 and Clay age 7.
I have done many drugs, drank, stayed in bars and was a TERRIBLE person. I re-married AGAIN and was married 15 years. I got back into my home church after my cousin shot and killed herself being addicted to crack cocaine.
This is when my life changed! I met the Lord and FROM the blood of Jesus, and God's WONDERFUL GRACE, my sins were forgiven. I was saved during a layman's retreat at Lake Barkley in KY. When we returned from the retreat, my Pastor said he thought I was about to jump out of my seat and to get up and Testify! The Spirit Of The Lord was in me so, that I told them all what God had Done for me and I said "I FEEL SO HIGH FROM THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD I WANT MY DOGS TO HAVE IT!!! ( I am and have always been DOG POOR) I followed Jesus for many years, then slowly I allowed the devil back in my life. I fell out into the word and my life went down hill from there. I divorced, became a FULL BLOWN ALCOHOLIC and Drugs, when ever I could get them.
Doug (my husband in mine and God's eyes) picked me out of the gutter and gave me a "Safe Haven", however he was a musician and a pot head. He was playing bar to bar, event, to festival, ect. and one night I looked around at a sleezy bar he was playing in and said "thats it" NO MORE DIVES AND DRINKING! We got into church, he became saved and 9 months later he was arrested and put in jail for selling 1/4 bag of pot to someone 1000 yards within a school.(That He had Sold before we met) He wasn't going to jail though.....God wouldn't let that happen...He was saved right? WRONG!!! He went to jail, my faith again was tested and back to drinking I went. HE NEVER LOST HIS FAITH!!!!! I allowed the devil to use me get him out of church, after he came home from jail but still he NEVER lost his faith. He only spent 2 or 3 months in jail because the Lord had taught him his lesson. He saw his work was done in jail and now his work was ME!!
Now, the Lord convicted HIS heart to use his GOD GIVEN TALENT of music to play for the Lord and he quit his bands. He is now looking for musicians to put together a Christian Band to witness in other churches.
God used this WONDERFUL man in jail and is now using him as a vessel for serving HIM.
I am Back in church and this website and all of you has helped me to grow stronger in my Faith! I am STAYING on this site, reading my bible daily, Attending church regularly, talking to everyone I can about the Lord, and Praying serveral times a day.
I have ALWAYS wanted to be a missonary and also do jail ministry. I am praying to the Lord that if this is what he wants for me to do, to open the door, because I WILL walk in.
I am still growing and have a long way to go, but I HAVE accepted Jesus back in my life!!!! GLORY BE TO GOD!
Keep praying for me and I will do the same for ALL of you!

What would you say is your Spiritual gift?: Talking to Others. I am telling EVERYONE about God's love. I will from this day foward be a soldier for the Lord! I will except any spiritial gift God sends my way!
