- I grew in New Orleans, La in a poverty stricken home. As a kid my parents took us to church until I was about 7 years old. After that they lived the best way they could doing things the best way they thought. At the age of 16 I got a job and had to provide for me and my brother. By the age of 17 I was introduced to drugs (not just the use of them but how to sell them also). By 18 I was carrying guns, selling guns, drugs, partying, rapping living "the street life" that I thought was popular. In August of 2005 me and my friend was thinking about expanding and moving into the drug game full time. I thank the Lord that as I was making these plans He was making plans of His own. On August 25, 2005 hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and devastated everything that I'd grown to know. I left New Orleans with my family 4 days after the storm. Everything we had had been destroyed we only manage to leave with a few of our possessions. For about six months we bounced around moving from place to place, hotel to hotel, we even slept in an empty house. Finally, we found a place to live in Dallas, Tx. Here in Dallas I fell into a state of depression (being homesick) and tried to block out my problems by continuing to take drugs. It wasn't until I was by my friend's house where his girlfriend gave me a book to read. It was called, "Healing the brokenhearted" by Joyce Meyer. I had an encounter with the creator and from that day forward my life would never be the same. That book led me to t.v. ministry where through t.v. ministry I got saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, and delivered from drugs!! I spent about a whole year just reading my Word and watching t.v. ministry night and day. Through that time GOD begin to move in my life. I got off drugs, got a job, got into church and been living for HIM ever since. Now i'll spend the rest of my life seeking the one who saved me, cleansed me, and gave me new life. I'm a Christian Hip Hop Artist, I'm an armorbearer for Generational Transfer Church in Richardson, Texas, and a Supervisor at the largest Sam's Club in the corporation. GOD is continuing to break me and humble me as I yield my life for HIS use!!!

Yo Markcus!!!!! Where there is Smoke there is Fire and the people of God will All go Higher! I can remember running a revival out on the street where every few minutes the Fire trucks would pass by with the Alarms blasting looking for a fire ,However there never was a natual fire it was the HOLYGHOST FIRE setting it OFF . God is so Awesome He leaves me Speechless LOL :)
