Living on prayers

Hello all... we are about to walk into another year.  My father is not ill anymore and being 82 he is not a spry as he once was but he is still with us and that is good.  I wasn't so sure that would be the case this time last year.  He gets upset that he can't do as much but that is to be expected sine he was a doer and never watched TV or sat around doing anything.  I now see him sitting down after 8pm and watching TV and his favorite is NCIS and Bones.  He has also learned how to use the…

Well here I am a year later than the last time I posted, it's been a rough year again. Someone told me to learn Jeremiah 29:11-13. Well I will memorize that and try to learn it's meaning.

I have lost my mom, she passed away Jan 12, 2010. I pray and things get worse. Not a charge just a fact. This life holds no joy for me, things just never turn out. My dad is going in for an operation on Wednesday.. maybe God will hear my prayers and not take him away as well.

I have been posting and asking for prayers for all the bad things that have been happening to me in the past few years and so I think telling the good is important also.



My daughter called about a car for sale and since it was a 1992 I was a bit leery about getting it but her hubby is a mechanic and she works for Audi and the guys there said it was a good deal. I am 53 today and have had a wakeup call of sorts, life changes so much and rolling with the punches is not as fun as the song makes it out to be.



Well another year and here I am in worse shape than last year... well there is only one way to go and that is up and I mean besides Heaven that is my final destination. It's been a while since I've posted anything. I am hoping that I won't be so busy so I can use this site to learn and study more than I have. It is strange that when things get bad instead of spending more time reading the scriptures we get so involed with the "problem" that we end up spending less time.
