In the Bible, God tells us that he created us to have unending fellowship with him, peace with our fellow man, harmony and joy within our family relationships, and to have dominion over the world in which he placed us. But we chose to go another way.
We learn in the same Bible that we, through our forefathers, chose to live our lives for ourselves, rather than to have fellowship with God. This choice of selfishness lead to our earthly death, to no peace with our fellow man, to disharmony and sadness within our family relationships, and to a lack of proper care of the world in which he placed us. Because of this, our future changed to one of eternal separation from fellowship with God after death, completely without hope of joy or peace.
The Bible goes on to record how God provided the remedy for our chosen path of selfishness. He came to us in the form of his son Jesus Christ. This son lived a life of fellowship, peace, harmony, and joy in full fellowship with God. Though innocent of any wrongdoing, he voluntarily allowed himself to suffer and die as a guilty lawbreaker, and received upon himself the full penalty of our selfishness by death on a cross.
The wonderful conclusion recorded in the Bible is that this Jesus rose from the dead and returned to God. He is forever our representative before God. He enables us today to enjoy fellowship with God, peace with our fellow man, harmony and joy within our family relationships, and to exercise proper dominion over this world in which he has placed us. We need only to pray and ask him to come in and rule in our hearts and lives.
Simply talk to God and say, "Thank you, God, for loving me and sending your Son to die on the cross for the wrongs I have done. I now choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life. Help me to be the kind of person that You want me to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

Christians need your prayers in Pakistan
Thanks for your prayers. Things are very bad here after the heavy rains and floods. All most all of our congregations in the villages have lost everything, they are under the open sky and still waiting for the rescue and help from the government. Some of our associate pastors’ family memebers are missing, we do not know where they are or either they are alive or dead.Please remember them in your prayers. Christians in Pakistan are in need of your support!
Please do what you can do for our people in this times of trials.

- I'm a single female in my early 50's who looks much younger than I am. God has been very good too me and graced me with 3 wonderful children and 11 grandchildren, and lots of His love some good friends and a great church that has taught me alot about his way of doing life in the recent past years.

- my Grandmother was a big influence in my christian life her devotion and love for God made me want to be like her and live for him. but I did not have a good example of that until I found VCC church. they taught me that doing life God's way learning Boundaries and other important issues were apart of living responsible and loving God's way. I am very thankful that they were able to help me in that area because with out that help I would still be struggling even though I accepted Jesus into my heart many years earlier (when I was 8 at a theif in the night movie it scared the life out of me)and then rededicated my life later when my first daughter was born because I really wanted my chilidren to grow up loving Jesus but I had alot of strugglesand still had not grasped the importance of reading my bible dily {the whole Bible andnot just my favorite passages that I had come to know in church and sunday school} Jesus showed me who He really was and how much I meant to Him through a ver trying experience I had with the Birth of my my first granddaughter who was born with serious Heart defects. Through my journey with her God showed me His love for me in ways one would never expect. Ways that I will never forget and every day I look forward to helping others with the way tht I have been helped and look forward to seeing my little Allycat {my nick name for precious little Alyssa} in heaven who is waiting there for me with my Favorite Grandmother who faithfully prayed for me.

- Walking, reading , watching gospel programes, crocheting, spending time with family and friends, 2 step dancing, enjoying the Hot tub at the local pool, travel. Helping others.
