Judging Others Right or wrong?

So I am not very knowledgeable in the word yet as I have just begun my thirst for the Lord however a member of my family and I have been discussing whether or not it is our place to judge others.

They way I interpret this subject from scripture I have read in Romans, James, and Matthew is it is not our place to judge anyone but to love all.
