Nobody's Perfect

Is there a such thing as a perfect mate? Many single Christians (especially women) seem to think so. As a woman currently in a Christian courtship (with the intent to marry), God has given me wisdom about that word "perfect" when it comes to men and women and relationships. I have learned that there is no such thing as a perfect mate but instead a perfect match. I think a lot of single people have this vision in their minds about what a perfect mate is. Many even have a specific list about the…See More

About Me
*I am a preschool teacher who loves to laugh and make others laugh.

*I recently graduated from the DePaul School of Education in Chicago.

*Right now my goals are to find my dream apartment, learn how to drive (yeah I know I should have done that over 10 years ago : P) and become the person in Christ that God called me to be before the foundations of the earth...
My Testimony
I got saved 8 years ago and I'm never looking back. God has captured my heart forever : ) I was at a very low place when He saved me. I was suicidal, depressed, angry, and rebellious. I was ready to give up on life, but the God of hope restored my desire to live...and for that, He is now the reason that I live. I love Him because He first loved me.
Favorite Activities
I like hanging out with my family, EATING, doing stuff with my students, and laughing at other people making fools of themselves.
Favorite Music / Movies / Tv Shows / Books
I love Christian and Gospel Music and sometimes Classical

My favorite movies are Dreamgirls, Grease, Five Heartbeats, and Drumline
What would you say is your Spiritual gift?
I believe that I have the gift of encouragement and a strong desire to see souls getting saved

kenya, thank u for ur comment. i read ur new situation and wish to help. i deffinately feel u on this. i used to get off of work and on the way home just want to pull over and whatever, cuz shes not even home anymore waiting for me. shes gone. why even go home, why even get up and go to work, or anything. i loved her soo much that i did it all for her/us. and after a healed up a lil. i started seeking attention else where and called the old friends. told em to come nover and keep me company. and let me just say that it did nothing good. my old friends are lost girl. and soo are the ones who are saved. its like they just accepted him and went on living there same old life. they call jesus savior but not lord. theyre still just babies and have been saved for many years now. no change, they still living for this world, and people like that are gonna reallllly be suprised in the day of judgement when they come before the lord and he says depart from me ur workers of iniquity, for i never knew u. they never even took the time to get to know him. and hes soo awsome and willing to know us. but we must stop living for the world. u know that scripture that says, greater is he who is in me, than he who is in the world. well if that aint true for every individual whome he saves, then there in trouble. we have to yeild to him and or surrender to him and let him be greater in us.god will never force himself on us. hes a gentleman. because forced love is not true love. saying this, now ill move to try fixing da prob. --- when da devil comes at you non stop, straight up rebuke him. tell him to shut up. i belong to jesus, and u have no power over me. tell him things like , u think u all bad and stuff, but my king died, went down into ur own house, slapped u around and took the keys of death and hell back from u, my king reigns and is lord of all. and start praisin Jesus for all that hes done and all that he is, and smile because u know its true. and when he reminds u of ur past, remind him of his future. i like to make him mad by picturing him bein trown into the lake of fire. and beat him with the word like Jesus did and adam failed to do. for every temptation he fires at u, theres a word in the bible to hit him back with. those are your swords. the same ones jesus used in the wilderness. and use ur armor of god. this is an everyday battle by the way. EVERYDAY BATTLE. it never stops. but just look at it this way. if u still belongd to the devil, he wouldnt be messin with u and workin soo hard to get u back. i mean hey, why work soo hard for the dollar thats already in your pocket. u dont. u work for the things u want, not the things u got. thats why all ur old friends got it kinda easy, cuz he dont need to mess with them, he already got them. and as long as there still thinking the same old stinkin thinkin. why stop them. girl hes more cleaver than we can imagine. hes been doing this thing since the beggining of time. and hes watches us since we were babies. ploting and planning. he knows every hurt, every desire, every want and wish. and he knows exactly what buttons to push to get you to do whatever he wants. but the trick is, he can only operate in evil. and if ur doin the will of god, plus loving and forgiving people, and doing as jesus commands us. then it makes it almost impossible for him to get to us. trust me. he used to mess with me hard. but then i remember that i can do all things through christ who strengthens me. and that one goes a lil like this.lets say ur a car and the road is life. and lets say u want to make a change in the direction ur going/ a turn. then Jesus would be the power steering fluid in your can to make that turn much esier, than if u didnt have him. u know what i mean. have u ever tried to turn a big ol car with out power steering fluid. its almost impossible, just like changin in life with out him. u can do it, barely ma. but how long can u do it before u get too tired and go get u some power fluid/Jesus.well i gotta go, my kids are runnin wild and im startin to get a lil frustrated, hahaahaa talk to you laters. your brother in christ.

I am so blessed to have my stage production at the museum of science and industry. TIckets are $15.00 for my living in black and white friends.

THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & INDUSTRY HOSTS

THE TOURING STAGE PLAY
“THE CYCLE”

FAM Entertainment Theater Co, NFP.
(FOCUSING ON ACHIEVEMENT & MOTIVATION THROUGH ENTERTAINMENT)

“The Cycle” is a theatrical trilogy and an awakening theatrical expression that provides us with a reason why every individual acts, thinks and chooses different paths in life. This is what we call a “Cycle”. It represents the reoccurring issues in ones life that just won’t let go of you. And illustrates how we form habits of living through heredity, education, society and even friends.

However, the true definition of change is a release from one’s past that develops into an innovative mind for your future. Therefore a renewal of the mind must take place in order to completely break the often at times destructive series of life.

This purpose driven theatre piece to will provide: Provision for needs, long-suffering for habits, joy for sorrow, strength for the weak and assurance for the strong.
