- I was raised in a family that went to a church where there was a lot of behavior going on that turned me off of Christianity. My mother could also be one of those Christians that has a negative effect on people. Then I went to college and really turned my back on God. When I was 28, I met a group of Christian businessmen who eventually showed me Jesus is the only way.
