- Hi, my name is Jesse. I am 20 years old; I have Muscular Dystrophy and can't use my hands or legs. I type with my mouth so my responses may be delayed I was called to preach the word of God, which I am so honored to be. I wasn't always a Christian but I claimed the title anyway. I try to live a Godly life but it's difficult with so much sin in the world but since I once took pleasure in the world I can help others.
- My Testimony
- When I was 6-8 years old, I can't remember my exact age, I developed what they call Muscular Dystrophy. There are over 40 types of these disease so my most vivid memory was seeing my mother cry from fear for my life. Several of the Muscular Dystrophy diseases are very deadly, effecting the muscles of the bearers body. So naturally she was very worried but I didn't know it was so serious; I thought it was like a cold and I would get better with time. I had to wear braces on my legs. Well after several hundred doctors appointments and tests over the years they discovered that my type of MD was undiscovered. They didn't know what was wrong with me, and it bugged us that we didn't have a name to label the disease. Well year after year the disease slowly got worse and worse til in the Elementary school, I think the fourth grade, I was placed in a wheelchair. It had become so difficult to hold my body up;my muscles in my legs grew tired so easily. Around this time my life started getting harder almost like the chair made life worse. The teasing from the fellow children intensified, I was bullied, hurt, and felt lonely. Years later the disease still progressed further and I couldn't stand at all at this point and my depression was worsened greatly. I was 15 when I turned away from God fully and began studying witchcraft, demonology, and Satanism; even practiced some of it. But still I kept the title Christianity for my moms sake. She kept me in church for my whole childhood but the teachings fell away even thought my calling started long before this point. Don't get me wrong, I believed in God and Jesus... but I was angry with him. I felt punished for something yet he was supposed to be a merciful God. I grew deeper into depression as the years flew by and at 17 years old I nearly attempted suicide. Something that day stopped me from carving into my wrist with that dull pocket knife. I knew God never left me at that point and the calling I once felt rekindled. But it went ignored and I continued my life, living for sex and self satisfaction. My father introduced me to pornography at a young age and it hurt still today since I ended up addicted to pornography and masturbation. I still struggle with these things even today. My dad taught me several bad habits and to be honest; he was never really much of a father. He encouraged alcoholism, sex, and sin. Now I haven't seen him in nearly 3 years and it hurts. Anyway; over the last few years I abandoned the old sinful ways and left the worldly was. Atleast I'm trying too, but Satan knows exactly where to hit when I'm at my lowest. My calling has grown stronger than ever and I intend to answer it starting here. =]

You know that saying in the bible " faith can move mountains", well that's true. Faith can move mountains but like a quote that I saw on LIBAW; faith can move mountains but don't be surprised if God hands you a shovel. God will help us through many situations but in some cases God will require a job from us; he may ask you to do something first like maybe before you get your car fixed, he wants you to learn something in the situation even if it is something simple… Continue
