- I am a pastor, husband and father of five. I live in Greenville, SC and have devoted my life to the service of Christ.
I became ordained, as a minister, in 2007. I do various speaking engagements, counseling and marriage ceremonies.
I travel extensively throughout the US. One day I'd love to travel abroad to work on short term missionary trips.
- My Testimony
- I became a Christian at a young age, 13, during a youth revival at my church. I started a music ministry shortly thereafter. My father was a minister and I would accompany him to various venues (nursing homes, shelters, and rescue missions). I would lead the music and dad would preach.
Later I went to college in Nashville at Trevecca Nazarene University. I became a part of the worship team for Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith.
- Favorite Activities
- I love to travel. I enjoy family trips to DisneyWorld and Universal Studios.
I love to read and am constantly looking for books that are engaging and really make you think.
I love to go to the movies. I'm not really into horror flicks but put a James Bond movie out and I'm there.

- I really enjoy Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Hillsong United, etc.
Just recently watched Courageous and thought it was awesome. Fireproof, Flywheel, Facing the Giants are a few of my favs.

Get Down On Your Knees

When my son, Noah, was 6 he was quite a handful. Many times he would go out of his way to get attention. I remember one afternoon when I was getting ready to leave the house. All the kids were there and each was giving Daddy a hug goodbye. When I got to Noah I bent over to give him a hug and kiss him on the cheek. As I approached him he backed up and said "Daddy, get down on your knees and tell me you love me." I laughed and then proceeded to do as I was told.

A fellow minister wrote me yesterday. He was telling me that sometimes it’s hard to reach the parishioners in his church. He likened it to “leading a horse to water but you can’t make them drink”. "Nearly 100 percent of churchgoers look forward to sermons, but only 17 percent think preaching changes the way they live," according to a recent study from the CODEC Research Center at St. Johns College in Durham, U.K. The CODEC report, "The View from the Pew," is based on interviews with 193 Anglicans, Catholics, Methodists and Baptists from 16 different churches.
