About Me

I am a saved young woman. I love the Lord with all my heart. He has been so good to me even when I did not deserve it. I like to read, write, and have fun. I love to laugh and make people laugh. God has given me a love for His people and people in general.

My Testimony

When I was 2 years old I was burned in a house fire. I received 2nd to 3rd degree burns over approx. 30% of my body. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at a young age and have been with Him ever since. I grew up having many surgeries. I ended up hating myself because of what I looked like. I went through depression and the only thing that kept me from committing suicide was that I knew if I did I would wake up in hell.
About at the age of 11 or 12 my mother told me once that she loved me and I asked her " How can you love me and I look like this?" She then told me that she loved me inspite of it and anyone who could not look past the burns weren't my friends anyway and I didn't need them. The Lord had begun a transformation. A while later I went in the prayer line at church and an evangelist spoke a word to me and began to tell me everything that I was feeling. How I hated myself and the way I looked but she told me that God loved me. It stayed with me but then I fell right back into depression. A little while later back in the prayer and this time my Pastor gave me hug and said that God said that He loves me and that I was beautiful. Once I stopped crying and picked myself up off the floor (lol!!) I was embraced by hugs from my church members letting me know that I was beautiful inside and out. I then prayed and asked the Lord to show me what he saw in me. He took me to Psalms 139 and let me know that He loved me so much that He has always had me on His mind and that He made just the way He wanted me to be. I like to say He even shaped my scars the way He wanted them to be.
Then when I was 13 my mother died. (Sorry ya'll for the long story but God has done a lot for me... I need to get to writing my book) A lot of things have passed since then but I still have my God. I am now a very confident, beautiful, and intelligent 25 year old woman. I am single but God has already spoken that I will marry one day so until then I wait on Him. I love each and every one of you and pray that God blesses you mightily.

reading, writing, singing for the Lord, bowling, exercizing, dancing, laughing, praising God plus a whole lot more!!!

i love scary movies and action movies. of course I love the Bible, but I also like the Harry Potter books and books with action, adventure. some fiction, non-ficition... ok how about I say I like a little bit of everything....
