- I was blessed to be raised up in a home where my family had a heart for God's will in my life. I built a strong foundation of faith through an active relationship with Christ. In reality my testimony is too big to put in a box!! lol but I can say I've had my times where I thought I knew what was better for my life and took on the storms of life on my own strength and I failed miserably...I've hit rock bottom...I've seen the depths and horrors of life no one person should have to see alone...but I am so glad that God has been patient with me! ONLY by His grace have I overcome and it is ONLY on His strength that i cling from this day forth....that is my will abiding in His...the rest I continually listen to His voice for direction!

The Lord looked down upon the earth and saw you...

The devil is so smoothe and tricky... As christains where should our mind be? What should our mouths be speaking? Nowhere in Scripture is a wife commanded to love her husband. She is commanded to respect him (see Ephesians 5:33). It’s not that a woman shouldn’t love her husband. But her love is a response to his salvation.
That means loving as Christ loves. So a husband is called to love his wife no matter what. We can’t wait until she gets everything right…
A husband cannot say, “She’s meeting my needs. Therefore, I will love her.” No, you love her even when she’s not meeting your needs. You love her until she learns how to meet your needs…
Most men date in order to marry, when the biblical principle is marry in order to date. Most men shower a woman with love to get here to say, “I do.” But the biblical ideal is to have her say, “I do,” so we can spend the rest of our lives showering her with love…

I have heard my Grandmother say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so today and every day, let us make a conscious effort to behold the beauty in all people. Every person of every nation is a child of God, here by divine appointment. And, yes, that means you, too!
All people -- friends, relatives, even complete strangers -- are works of the divine Creator. They are all tributes to God's grandeur and reflect the beauty that is God. It is God who makes us, thus we are all different and yet, alike in so many ways.
You are beautiful. When you look in the mirror, you are looking at a unique, magnificent, God-centered being looking back.
