About Me: I'm the most humble person on earth. Sike. Let's start with important things. I've been saved for 5 years, but as of lately i've been much more diligent to pray and step out of the boat and share my faith in deed and in truth with others. I play the drums. My favorite thing to do is go to church and evangelize.

My Testimony: Before I joined the military, I went to a youth group and that night was a testimony night. Led by the admonition of the Lord, I went up to share my testimony and from that moment forward, I could feel the presence of God working in my life. This is the short version. The long version resembles a divine coincidence. That night a guy named mike went to share his testimony, and before he started he said, " Glen your'e going to be like a lighthouse that Guides Ships back to the harbour. This guy was probably 18, nevertheless a few months went by and I was at a family reunion where we were drawing raffle tickets. I one a prize, A Glass LightHouse. I immediately remembered what i had been told and then the presence of God was there. So here I am now almost 5 years later and I belong to a church called The Door in Port Hueneme, where the Pastor "ironically" was sent out of the LightHouse church in santamonica, The Church that witnessed to him as an unbeliever in the film business. I'm now in the right place.

Favorite Activities: Outreach, Playing with Kids, Making Music, Leading Youth Group. Being a Disciple of Jesus.

Favorite Music / Movies / Tv Shows / Books: A variety with in the scope of the Christian genre.

I can only imagine it has been a great learning experience to be a part of this equation-and witnessing the transition (running from God to running to God), adding to your Christian diet a vitamin of faith. There are so many people out there running from God, ignorant of the fact that the blessing comes when we turn ourselves in. Personally though, one of the most prevalent attacks to my own faith is the lie that other people will figure it out on their own, granted time doesn't fix problems, if anything it makes them worse. That's why it always hardest to witness to older people who have been running from God all of their life. The longer they run, the more distance they create. Good thing God takes us where ever we are. -The more we say yes to God, the more He entrusts us to do His Will. Keep up the blessed work of the Lord my brother!

At 8:58am on January 1, 2010, M H said…: Glen, just thinking about you brother, i recently was relocated from Djibouti, Africa to Comoros, Africa so there has been a nice yet different change of pace you know. im looking forward to coming home soon, i could use some good old christian fellowship you hear me son. things are well here though, the lord has done his fair share of blessing me repeatedly this deployment. i have wittnessed many of my fellow seabees take a turn for christ and that is a truely a remarkable feeling to be a part of gods plan in some ones life. be able to mentour and knowing that you have to be the example because among all these people all eyes are on me, god has shown how faithful and gracious he is. i really couldnt ask for to much right now. exept for a good rest of deployment and a safe fun filled trip back home you know. i miss you brother and really do look forward to seeing you soon so until then take care huh. and when you see her tell my wifey i love her very much, im proud of her and that i love the woman she is becoming in christ.
