- I'm a single mother of a wonderful little boy. I'm a full time student and a full time career woman also. I'm just a woman trying to make her way and survive in the world until our Father calls us home, and trying not to screw up too badly along the way. haha :) Basically I'm like most of you, just in a different wrapper.

- God saved me from an early age. My mother left me and my three sisters when I was still a baby. We were seperated and grew up in foster homes for a few years. My grandparents were strong in the faith. They prayed that God would bring us all back together. My grandfather is a retired minister in our faith, and his sermons have always been very strong. They took all four of us in and adopted us. Some worried about my grandmother raising four little girls in her 50's, but she always told everyone.. "its all or nothing, I won't leave one behind" and she never did. She is home now with our Heavenly Father and I miss her more then words could ever express. The Lord continues to bless my grandfather and he still continues very actively in church and community. They both are a huge inspiration to our family and to the community. They are my Mom and Dad and I couldn't have asked for better. I've always been an active member of faith, but with trials I lost my way for a few years and am working to find my way back with God's grace. God blessings to all!

My friend's 2 year-old son has been battling cancer. They found a large growth on his kidney, and the cancer was spreading. They've had to completely remove his left kidney and do agressive therapy, and now he battles infection. However, we found out yesterday that he is cancer free!! There is a 90 percent rate of no new growth with his type of cancer, and a 10 percent of regrowth in the first year, so they will be monitoring his organs agressively. - Hey there Ginger, Greetings to you and thank you for the comment you posted. Iwas offline for a few days computer problems. I do sense that the Lord has a calling on my life but sometimes I wonder what it is?? And that is in part because of my carnal mind!! I have a degree in respiratory medicine, I am going to be going to culinary school and, I am working toward a Biblical theology and Biblical counseling dgree. I do love the Bible, and the Lord, and I just think it is neat how we can look at our lives and see what pauls talking about in Romans 12:3-8, and that being that to each of us God has given us grace to minister to others, not to puff us up, or parade ourselves but to build His church. And I love what Paul says in 1Timothy 1:12, "but I thank God who has Enabled me!! So key!! God infuses us with grace, and enables us to go. Kind of like putting gas in a car and the starting up and driving it~~lolmiss your smile, and hope all is well with you and your son
