Geez, Stratera AND Concerta sounds like a tall order!!! I just started Jared on Concerta and he's about bouncing off the walls!! How certain are you that's it's ADD/ADHD? The reason I ask is because I KNOW Jared doesn't have it, yet I am being forced to "play the game" by trying all these other things and ruling things out to get to his REAL diagnosis, which I know to be bipolar disorder. I was doing some research and found out that a ridiculous number of kids diagnosed with ADD/ADHD are, in fact, bipolar. They may have a milder case of ADD on top of that too, but if you medicate a bipolar kid with ADD meds, bad things can happen!!!

I'll probably talk to her sometime today and I'll give her a heads up - it sounds like a ton of stimulants to me though, Don...what physical effect is the Stratera having? Have you noticed an improvement in behavior or a worsening? Like I said, D'Nea is gonna be the one to REALLY help you with this, but until you talk to her, I'd advise you to do some online research and see if there's anything out there about combining them. Know what, too?? Go to the Stratera and/or Concerta site, get the phone number, and call them yourself - see if they have any opinions on mixing the two...

Yes every school has it's ups and downs... My mom is a teacher at lexington central elementaryfor special ed kids mild to moderate and even in public schools where they have had those programs for awhile still has its faults... I hope everything works out for the best in the end though and may God bless you guys.

Yes it is a small world, I wasn't quite sure what to expect once I joined this website but I found that it is very interesting and the people here are very friendly and I enjoy talking and commenting on things... May God bless you and I'm not sure where your grandchildren go to school at but I hope they're doing alright if they go to Mansfield city schools with everything that's been going on with that

Hi Donna. I read your profile. It seem's that you have your hands full. I wonder how you can keep up' I guess it is only by the Love of God that your able to do so. --- I do want to welcome you to LIBAW. And I also want you to know that we are here for you 24-7 for prayer if you ever need us. just remember that God Love YOU and that you can do all thing's through Him and that all thing's are possible to them that believe.--- I was thinking how bless you really are. Just remember who you are and the calling we all have on our live's to Love people. So as you go with God keep us in your prayer's as well. As we pastor we sometimes get down and feel we are along. But we know that is not true. It is just hard some times. So many times I've had to hold my wife and tell her we can do this. And at the same time I'd be wondering how. But for her I have to put on my happy face,but she would alway's read me like a book. I guess she would be thinking to herself he feel what I'm feeling but his calling is keeping him strong.--I guess what I'm trying to say,is that there is a power within that can hold us and keep us above water and take us over to the other side. For Jesus said it best. "LET US GO OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE" We really can't go under for going over when we are in Him.---Well I guess I'll close for now --I know now what I'll be preaching on in the morning.
