At 8:50pm on June 12, 2009, Donna Stuart said…: Hi,been a while since we have talked, but wanted to take a minute while I can to touch base. We are doing pretty good. Jon and Erica are spending much of the summer with their mom. My problems will probably be unbearable when they return home. I really didnt have a choice tho, financially. None of the parents are paying child support, but I make too much to get daycare assistance and my income barely covers the mortgage, utilities, and groceries...so that left me only one option. Erica wanted me to allow her to stay home by herself, but she is too young for that. Jon is having a very difficult time with it, he asks everyday if I have to work the next day cause he wants to come home. Poor little guy. Anyway, he is doing great on the strattera and concerta combo. I have had him tested for sensory and they have determined that he has Sensory Processing Disorder, they said he will start therapy soon for that. We have an appointment in July to test for the autism. I have discussed his symptoms with 2 different doctors and both agree that it needs further testing to confirm. He had allergy tests done and they want to redo them at the end of the month because nothing showed up, not even the one that shows them the test is working. Anyway, thats the scoop for us. Keeping me hopping with medical appointments, but we are getting answers, thats what I wanted.

I had a question and really hoping you or someone else can help me with it. My grandson that I have custody of is on Strattera for ADHD. They decided today that due to some issues that he is having they want to add another medication. They want to give him Conserta plus continue with the Strattera. Is this something that is normal, to double adhd meds that way? I am really unsure on this. Thanks, Donna Stuart
