About Me
I have three wonderful children - Destiny, Charity, and Trinity. Charity and Trint have families of their own - my granddaughter Alyssa from Charity. My Destiny is 22 and is mentally and physically handicapped but is my world. I'm in a wonderful relationship with a winderful man. We are both overcomers of drug addiction (with God's help and only because of Him). I love My God and my family. They are my world.
My Testimony
I was raised in a small town with wonderful parents and two older brothers. I got saved at fifteen. I grew up and married my high school sweetheart and we had three wonderful children, the oldest of which was handicapped. Life was good. Our family had outgrown our house so we sold our 2 bedroom house and bought a new home. Then, I lost my job and my husband's wages got cut due to cut backs. It didn't take long until we were in serious financial trouble. I wasn't willing to be on the street with my children so I started dealing drugs to pay the bills. I thought it was the only way - almost everyone I knew did drugs. (I am not making excuses or shifting the blame here. I am just sharing my feelings at that time.) It wasn't long until I was using as well. Needless to say, I got busted. On a first offense, I was sentenced to 15 years with 6 months to be served in prison. My family was devestated because they had no idea what I had been doing and it was such an embarrassment to them. I had been incarcerated for 3 months when my husband was killed in an on the job accident. I was allowed to go home and bury him and then I had to leave my three children without either of us and finish my sentence. I was devestated and mad at the world. I knew people that had gotten numerous convictions and never served a day in jail, much less prison. When I got out, I stayed clean about six months. My kids and I were coping as best we could but I was still so angry. I still prayed and I knew God was with me but I was still backslidding. One day I decided I was going to do dope until I was tired of doing dope and 4 1/2 years later, I was busted again. This time I received a 15 year sentence with 2 years to serve. Because I was still on probation from my first charge, I ended up spending 26 months in jail on a 2 year sentence. I had been incarcerated for 6 months when I realized that I was doing dope and locked up for doing it. I prayed for God's help to quit and I did. I've been clean for 6 1/2 years and it is only possible thru Christ. My children and I have restored our relationship and we are closer than ever. Now I try to help others that are dealing with addiction and the aftermath of it. It is not easy to recover from addiction and without God and family or friends support, it is impossible. However, my relationship with God is great and those two years of incarceration saved my life. Mike, who I am with now, went to jail with me the last time. He also served two years and also has been clean for 6 years. We both love the Lord and allow Him to be in control of our lives.

Where is God?

He was just a little boy,

On a week's first day.

Wandering home from Bible school,

And dawdling on the way.

He scuffed his shoes into the grass;

He even found a caterpillar.

He found a fluffy milkweed pod,

And blew out all the 'filler.'

A bird's nest in a tree overhead,

So wisely placed up so high.

Was just another wonder,

That caught his eager eye.

A neighbor watched his zig zag course,

And hailed him from the… Continue

Blessings To Count

If you woke up this morning

with more health than illness,

you are more blessed than the

million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced

the danger of battle,

the loneliness of imprisonment,

the agony of torture or

the pangs of starvation,

you are ahead of 20 million people

around the world.

If you can attend a church meeting

without fear of harassment,

arrest,… Continue

Healing comes in many ways.

I want to share a dream that I had about a month ago. I was in a church service and went up during the altar call for prayer. The speaker came to me and took me by the hand as he sat down upon the arm of the front pew. He said "I'm going to turn my head so that I don't see." As he said this, he turned his head away from me and closed his eyes. At that time, I could feel the presence of hands, from behind me, outlining my head and down midways of my shoulders. A hot charge of electricity seemed… Continue

May God bless your Easter Greetings with answered prayers

with healing, with deliverance, with blessing and with anointing.

May the Love of God lead and guide you in the Holy Spirit and

bring forth God's will in a mighty way as we remember what Jesus did

for us all.

May we give God all the Glory and praise for sending Jesus to die and

raise from the dead so we can live forever.

Bless you as you celebrate this special time of year
