HUGE FIRE AT PROMISE KEEPERS HEADQUARTERS

Last night, a fire broke out in our computer server room. The room essentially melted down. The entire suite has major damage. Computers are destroyed and possibly some old PK source video from previous PK Events.We are trying to get the office up and running. About Me: I am the founder of VerseMinder, the scripture memory tool. I have gone from working in the secular technology world to applying technology to build the kingdom. Three years ago, I was convicted at a Gary Smalley Marriage Seminar to make a life long change in my heart. Gary said that the best way was to hide God's Word in your heart. I went out to look for a tool on the Internet and couldn't find one. So, I created one... It's called VerseMinder.

My Testimony: Growing up, Jesus was more of a concept. I went to a Taiwanese American Church and the things we talked about most was in living in this "American" culture. After moving to Colorado, I really hit rock bottom and that's when I heard the parable of the Prodigal Son. It was at a Vineyard church where I was saved.

I attended my first Promise Keepers event in 1992 and have had my life changed because of it. But I would say I was lukewarm to Christ until about 3 years ago. That's when I heard about scripture memory.

Favorite Activities: My family, running, skiing, tennis, technology and gadgets!

Favorite Music / Movies / Tv Shows / Books: Newsboys, 24 and anything Clancy, Lundlum write.

I would memorize the passage by rote but I rarely meditated on said passage until much later because I was more interested in completing the course work. Now that I have completed the course (graduated in '81) I can sit back and meditate on what I memorized. It has opened the word and the Word to me in ways I never realized before.
