Can I just say that we are told not to judge - we don't know their destination for sure. If they are being mourned by a Christian family then I would be pretty certain that they will be ok. Why? God's love is far greater than those of us who mourn and He has said that He is not willing that any should persih. There are many stories told of people who experience the whole of their lives passing before them in the instant before their death - a last chance to repent? I think so. God is faithful. To know that you are going to your death without any hope would be enough to cause most people to call on Jesus - it may not be audible to us - but the call of the heart is penetrating - it reaches into heaven itself. That last call is sufficient to save them. God looks on the heart and He will save to the uttermost.
