- I was an emotionally scarred, traumatized individual with years of anguish and misery. A lost soul.
It was my senior year in high school. A girl invited me to Wednesday 7pm youth/bible study. I started going for that obvious reason. Couple months later, she & her family had moved due to financial issues. I didn't want to "look bad" so I continued going to the church anyway. Them realizing I decided to be a regular attendee, they offered me to operate the projector for worship. I accepted. Many months later, I had graduated from high school. And on that night, I had insomnia as usual. Knowing this will mark the beginning of the rest of my life, & still not being able to sleep, a deep urge to make a life-long commitment kept burning in me...and it was right then I knew what I wanted. I sat there and prayed. Let loose of all my burdens & desires. Leaving my old life behind and began my new. That night I gave my life to the Lord & accepted Jesus Christ as my savior.
I am now a singer for the worship band at my church Eureka First Assembly of God.
