For at least two hours and maybe three the dog lies asleep on his bed, he had had a very energetic morning walk and a good breakfast. Occasionally an ear would flick and a paw would move involuntarily but otherwise the beast lay completely still… however somewhere inside that sleeping body an acute antenna was working; the dog, although asleep was not forgetting that there was something more important than food, exercise or sleep.
