- I'm Anna and i'm 22 years old. I have a huge family, which drive me crazy, but I love them anyway. I just got married to the man of my dreams. I am so absoutley in love with my husband, Allen. He is the most amzing man I have ever meet. I know he will make a great husband, he has already had to show me in ways most others don't have to experience. Five days after being married, I ended up in the hopspital with bad chest pains. To my surprise, I was found to have blood clots in my lungs. I had to stay in the hospital for five days and he never once left my side for more that 10 mins at a time. He gave me sponge baths and held my hand when I had to give blood (which was quite a bit). He never once complained about having to be there or having to help take care of me. Or about getting woke up every hour in the middle of the night. He is pretty amazing. But, it does not end there. I will be on blood thinners, maybe for the rest of my life (we are praying against that) and have tons of doctors appointments for the rest of my life. Every week for a while, and then every two weeks for a while. He just keeps saying he is going to be there for me and provide for me. I know of people who have been married for years who couldn't handle this, but he is right there for me every step of the way. I am so amazed how God knows the exact right person for you and when you need to be together. I praise Jesus for this wonderful man he put in my life to be my husband. I love to hang out with the few close friends that I have. They are amazing and I don't know what I would do without them. I love you!! (you know who you are). I am very passionate about my walk with God and aspire to be a christian counselor. Jesus is my life, my Lord and my savior.
- My Testimony
- When I was little I was very involved in church. I loved it. I would beg my mom every sunday to take me to church and most Sundays she did. When I go into middle school I started attending a church on Wednedays evenings. I enjoyed it for a while and then I was really burned by an adult in the church. Her daughter and I were going through a situation. It was hard enough without her mother getting involved. I heard her mother talking very bad about me one night at church. When I confronted her daughter about it, she said that her mom said thats what adults do, is talk behind kids backs. I was devastated and left the church. I got into some bad things. I would drink some, I smoked and smoked pot twice. I knew this was not for me, but I felt so lost. A friend of mine had been begging me to come to her church, but I just keep making up excuses of why I could not. Then one day I was out walking and her and her van full of church kids stopped me in the middle of the road and begged me to go. I wasn't doing anything else so why not. At this point in time, I had very bad self esteem. This church made all the difference in the world. If I was down, they would pick me up. They told me I was beautifal and a loved child of God. Shortly after, I went to a weekend called Chrysalis. It changed my life. When I started going to the Sunday services at my church it changed my life as well. I would walk through the door and feel the love. I am a blessed child of God and I love the lord with all of my heart. A few years later, I met Allen and fell in love. A few more years later and we were married. We are struggling right now with finances and such, but we will make it. The lord will provied. AMEN
